Sounds like it was sleepless or disturbed nights all round.
I had my sister staying yesterday, so Ellie and Keira slept in with me. Keira told me she had put her bedtime nappy on - NO SHE HADN'T. For some reason I woke up at 4, and put my arm over, and she was soaked (how she never woke up, I have no idea!) big massive puddle under her. So the bed had to be stripped, cleaned, and febreezed, and hopefully it's not stink permo! Can't afford a new mattress.0 -

I've started present shopping..
I've been hyper ultra absurdly organised and bought birthday presents for everyone whose birthdays are before May 30th(4 people: old friend, mother, brother, Very Best Friend). It was a bit accidental - I like having presents ahead of time for my family because I won't be local on their birthdays, so I always get my mother's and brother's gifts when I do the Christmas shopping. I saw a necklace and earrings reduced from 20 to 2.50 that Old Friend would love so I bought it, and Very Best Friend is getting something I already have and know she'll love.
I also have a sneaking suspicion that I've gone dreadfully overboard on Christmas because I didn't keep records, and if that's the case I'll pillage the Christmas gifts for birthday gifts too. And if I've gone even more overboard than I think I have there'll be Christmas gifts for next year, too. A head start!
Husband's Christmas gift to my mother will also be next year's gift and possibly the year after's. She has a strange fetish for garden decorations. One year I got her garden flamingoes and she loved them. So this year Husband is buying her gnomes. However, I was in charge of buying gnomes and went [STRIKE]slightly[/STRIKE] insane when I saw how awesome the selection was. Currently there are 23 gnomes at our disposal and I'm still bidding on three more. So the plan is as follows: I also bought a plaque that says "beware of the gnomes", and Husband will put it in a nice gift box and wrap it for under the tree. Then as the day goes on gnomes will start appearing all over the place, culminating in our strategically sending her into the kitchen once it's dark (but the blinds are still open) to reveal a solar powered gnome with a lantern standing in the middle of the patio.
So far today I've done a load of laundry, uploaded pictures of the maternity clothes I'm selling and cleaned the kitchen. Next I'm going to go through the 0-3 month clothes now the monster's not fitting properly into newborn sizes. Hurrah for productivity!Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
