Thanks for the hugs and advice last night, I loves you guys!

I made some jam tarts and made him 2 cups of tea and we watched a film so got to spend some time together. Was hoping to have Amber in bed for 9pm but she decided she wanted to be awake and stare at us for a while. So decided to be nice to him rather be all cold and aloof. Definitely better results from making him tea

Weezle, he is in 'work mode' and he has done it when the boys were little as well, it passes I know this but it's still hard right now.

Well I better go get this house tidied it doesn't tidy itself.

I've started present shopping.. :D Not xmas, but for birthdays in Oct/Nov and getting sorted on the thankyou presents for my parents now the (lovely!) mug have arrived. Even bought one of OH's birthday presents yesterday but only cos Firebox sent me a "we miss you!" £5 voucher! ;)

I got vouchers from Asda in the post this morning - off Fairy, Pampers and personalised mugs (). Not sure how they've got my name and address, might be because I've bought baby clothes online from them or maybe because I picked up my Bounty pack from there. Speaking of which, got an email about the Baby Essentials one which I can go get now too :) Will go pick up another big box of nappies whilst they're on offer, methinks :)

Cocoa (well, I use Cadbury's hot choc mix-with-water type) and any dried fruit you want to put in it :) Enjoy!
