Glam bought lots of baby clothes from car boots too.. :)

I don't need to get dressed up. OH is going to take Rhys to the hospital - his turn to play bad cop :p Then he's taking him to the IL's and SIL's houses - they're all away in Florida for SIL's 40th for the next two weeks so he's checking on the houses and feeding the cats. Might even go to FIL's allotment and check what needs saving from the bugs ;)

I'm going to stay here and sort boxes.. opposite to caz :D

    Oh effing hell.

Husband has a seamstress that he says is great. I pinned a maternity dress that needed the shoulder straps taking up and sent it to her cause I couldn't go myself. She decided that I couldn't possibly be that short and made the straps a bit longer. I didn't realise till my boobs fell out at Posh Dinner Event.

THIS time I went in person to have my dirndl taken up. She told me that having it on the knee was too short and it needed to be a couple of inches longer. I said no, it needs to be on the knee and insisted she pin it that way. Husband's just been to pick it up ... and the effing thing is precisely two inches below my knee!

I'm taking it elsewhere and hoping I can get a rush job before Friday. Husband is trying to tell me that it's not her fault. I'm > < this close to telling him to go live with her if she's so effing wonderful.

Courtesy of Elle the RR queen:

100g-ish of butter, two tablespoons of golden syrup, two tablespoons of cocoa (or cadbury's hot choc powder if you're me!), and broken up chocolate, all in a pan, on the hob, melted until smooth.

Broken up digestives, marshmallows, raisins, anything else you find in the cupboard.. throw them in the pan when the choc is melted, stir together.

Put in a tin (baking, roasting, cake - whatever!), lined with cling film, and put in the fridge and try to forget about it for a couple of hours.. Turn out, chop up, make cuppa and scoff :D

(I searched for butter on this thread!!)
