All my weight is around my stomach, I go in at the waist then I have big fat love handles and a big saggy belly. BLECH!!!
I fell preggo at 17, I remember on my 18th birthday, I had to drag myself downstairs to blow out my candles, stopped by the toilet to puke, and went back upstairs to sleep. Great birthday!!0 -
No I haven't tried that, I would if Aldi was closer, it's away over at the beach and I'm too lazy to walk that far when Lidl is literally across the road. I will pick some up next time I'm in that area and let you know
Im actually thinking about weaning myself off it, people say aspartame makes your hair fall out, maybe that's why mine is!0 -

infact I get a wee bit jealous of people with little babies, as we didnt get to use newborn clothes, and after 3 weeks 0-3 months were out grown. And at 4 months she is starting to out grow 6-9month clothing......i kinda want her to stop rushing to grow up!
We're the opposite here. Considering Caitlin was only a week early (so fully cooked) and was 7lb 1oz when she was born, it was only last week she went into 0-3 month clothes (at 2.5 months). The problem is that lots of people bought her lovely summery outfits and she's not going to have chance to wear them all as it's only odd days (like today) that it's warm enough for them. Also, some of the 0-3 stuff is still too big for her now. OH took all the tags off  and through the gift receipts away, so we can't even take them back to swap them.d - none of the above, she just felt like it and tonight will probably wake 3 times just to annoy youSometimes I think babies are evil like stewie on family guy :rotfl:
Photos are fab is it the lighting or does she have gorgeously tanned looking skin? peaking at ur FB pic it looks like your OH has similar colouring (you look gorgeous btw!)
Eeek, you're not supposed to say that. You're supposed to say "excellent, that is how it's going to be every night from now on"
I call her devil child sometimes . She's usually crying (hence the comment by DH's sister next to the photo of her laughing).
I had the camera on the soft skin setting, which I think helps a bit. I'm hoping she has been blessed with OH's skin though as he goes lovely and brown whereas I'm pale and go more red than brown.
Thank you for the compliment. I think my wedding wa the only time I looked half decent, hence why one of the wedding photos is still my profile pic 13 months after the event!Hehe OH just sent me this pic - apparently Elijah broke in to the spare room, and she heard him making grumbling noises and came to see. Then cruelllly rather than rescue him from his plight she went and got a camera
Totally cute!!!0 -

Krystal and I had a lovely afternoon gossiping (for 3 1/2 hours ) and it is concluded as a fact that she is almost a lovely as I am
:rotfl:
- but please can someone explain what position you co-sleep in, just for my curiosity? Can feed lying down, just not fall asleep in bed with him afterwards
I put my head at the same level as Benjamin's (no pillow) then put my bottom arm under his knees so I am kind of holding him but without having a proper grip of him IYSWIM. This way I can make sure that the duvet doesn't go anywhere near his head and that if he wakes and moves I know about itmookiandco wrote: »
Anyways, I gave her some baby rice last night and was sort of hoping that she would reject it and then I could tell the HV where to go. I know my own baby and I dont think she's really ready for it but i'm due to see the HV again in 2 weeks and I didnt want to get in trouble for not trying atleast. She's not even my regular HV so I dont know whether she just has her own way of doing things and has tried to impose them on me.
I just wondered what baby rice you lot use. I have organix wholemeal rice but dont know if theres a better one, especially with my little girl being so little.
xxxx
Tell the HV where to go if you don't agree with them. They have no authority whatsoever over YOUR baby. What are they going to do? Smack your bum
I use Hipp Organic BR. I wasn't specifically looking for organic but I was amazed (and horrified) by the number of additives etc in some of the others and this was the one with the least amount of crap in it (that I looked at).How cold does it really need to be for a baby to need to be in a pram suit like this?
OMG I have one, it's only been worn once and I was wondering what to do with it....Will check size etc later and speak to the fairiesplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Evening All
I did say I would try and pop in now and again..... I have had a little flick back, so will just say;
Elle - I will keep everything crossed for the next scan.
3 - Congrats to your OH.
Caz - Congrats on the new house.
My lectures actually start on the 28th, which is fortunate as my car hasn't yet got a working engine in it!!! Hopefully it should be all finished off by Tuesday as I am meant to be going up for a welcome meeting thing.
Kai is doing great, he is now sitting fully unaided and eating toast/rusks etc without gagging at all, and he has mastered sliding around the floor....he tried to get his knees under him but quite get it yet.....Jaden is doing fantastically in school and is fast catching up with the rest of his year, so all he extra dyslexia specific work seem to be paying off (although his writing skills are still far behind his age) Luca is as bright as always, although I am a bit gutted as he is due to go away with the school in November and it just happens to fall on his birthday, so torn with what to do for that....
I hope everyone is well
