The 9 mth - 11 yrs seem to convert to a booster seat - but how safe/comfy would they be when you're 9 months old.
Has anyone got up to 11 yrs style one - and would they recommend?
DS2 has the 9month to 11 years one. He got it at 18months because he is so tall he looked bunched up the 9month - 4 yr one (that was DS1). We got one with side impact to help him sit upright (he fell to the left due to his CP) and used the 5 point harness till he was 3 now he uses the adult seatbelt with the full seat and back rest (and SIP). Personally I do like them, but do spend that little bit extra for SIP that you can adjust the height of.
It's similar to this one that DS2 has (bad grammer!!)0 -

Erm, ladies with more than 1 baby.... I am meant to be fatter quicker this time right?:o:D
Yes! I got away with normal clothes til 7 months with no.1.
I was instantly fat with no.2, as soon as we found out.
And with no.3, I was fat before we even found out.

This was taken the day before we found out, so I was only about 5-6 weeks but my boobs and tummy had already expanded......and I was even standing doing a pregnant pose!
MIL said when we told her I was, I knew you were when I saw the wedding photos. Funny, cos we didn't!Krystaltips wrote: »Anyway... Off to get ready for my date with Mfd.... Really sorry you can't make it Keeley and Choppy... 3, did you decide to make the drive?
No. I forgot I was going out for lunch with my GBF. (he's not actually gay - but should be!)
Hope you had a lovely time......and had lots of kisses! :eek:DS2 has the 9month to 11 years one. He got it at 18months because he is so tall he looked bunched up the 9month - 4 yr one (that was DS1). Thanks Tia.
We haven't actually picked one yet, don't really need it for another month or so, so any recommendations are welcome.
Pics were just an example of the difference in shape/style for those who didn't know they existed (including me before I looked on Kiddicare!):beer:0 -

You also need to consider at what age you're going to use it, Maddy is still too young for these and safety experts now say to keep them rear facing as long as possible, and on a personal note my kids were very uncomfortable if they fell asleep in the 9mth-11 rather than 9mth-4, but then not all kids sleep in the car! The Ultimax reclines and the seat bit comes off for fitting which I'm happier with.
Should I join FB?Too many children, too little time!!!0 -

This is me at 38 weeks pregnant. (Excuse the white dots - I had to scan it in from a photo someone printed off their computer and gave to us.) Do I look like I'm carrying twins?Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5
