How cold does it really need to be for a baby to need to be in a pram suit like this?

How can you get a new engagement ring? Surely it isn't an engagement ring if you get it now? I can't wear mine because it started wearing away my wedding ring. I calculated that it would be gone by our 11th wedding anniversary if I didn't stop wearing the engagement ring.
Well I supose it's gonna be an eternity ring :D I don't wear mine because its not a 'normal' one, it's quite wide so doesn't really fit on my finger comfortably with my wedding ring on it too.
Only you could work that out :D I love it!

Tara I liked he one on kiddicare that was called Chilli - the red one, red it one of my fave colours

  • Oh, if we're looking for ideas for christmas, my christmas list is here.

And tara, I've missed what the thing is that you need to decide on a colour for is, so I'm going to go for purple. Just to be helpful ;)

Hi ladies......havent caught up yet but may have a little scan through the last few pages.

With all the talk on car seats, can anyone tell my the benefits or not, of getting an age 0-4 one rather than a 0-11 one?
The 0-11 ones seem to make :money:sense....but is there a reason not to use one?

No idea of the difference but I do know that when I read up about Gp0 and Gp1 carseats, the tests found that the ones which were both Gp0 and Gp1 (i.e. you could turn them round) had performed poorly in crash tests (although obviously they met the legal minimum requirements) and so it was recommended it was safer to have separate ones rather than a combined one.

I think you just have to play it by ear depending on the day. Yesterday was beautiful here. We had t-shirts on when we walked Bob and the sun was lovely and warm on our arms.

This morning I went to work in a long sleeved blouse and forgot my cardi and I was cold, and we had fleeces on to walk Bob.

So no to the pram suit yesterday but I would have put it on today!
Here I go again on my own....

So I do need one then?

Usually when we go out, we're not outside for long, just from the car into the hospital or from the multistorey carpark attached to the covered shopping centre, so Rhys is in his car seat with probably vest, long sleeve tshirt, trousers and sometimes a fleecy zip-up hoodie (plus a muslin and the apron on the car seat) and he still looks all bunched up with no room to move

Elle - Chris has a pram suit like that, didn't use it much but if you had a pram without a cosy toes you would prob use one a lot in winter :)
