Did you catch Levi Roots programmes on bbc2, i think it was called 'taste of the carribbean' or something like that, was well good, you can catch it on bbciplayer.

She is, OH can't stand her, she was round the other day (invited herself) and OH was trying to watch some documentary and she kept talking over the top and porclaiming whatever they said rubbish or untrue and then would go into a big speil about why she was right.

The skin colouring thing annoyed me, has she been sitting staring at OH, Keira and me and comparing our complexions? It just screams weird?

She dresses like she is 65 too, big long flowery skirts, flowery blouses, bright blue eyeshadow and bright red lipstick....any wonder she has been single for 3years? God i'm a b!tch, but the big loud screaming laughs she does in middle of tesco is ridiculous and highly embarrassing.

Oh yeah and I went in by the chemist yesterday to sign up to the NHS stop smoking programme and she's standing behind me talking loud so me and the chemist would hear saying how her sister is evil when she hasn't had a cig, how her sister would never stop, nightmare to be around etc. Is that really an approriate thing to say as I'm signing up to stop? She said something else aswell in the chemis that annoyed me but can't remember what, oh yes then we went to get a sandwich and she had demolished hers in about 3seconds and then said to me (we were about to go into the library) "Hurry up and stop stuffing your face" I'd only had a tuna sandwich, she had a 3 pack chicken and stuffing with a choc bar and crisps. NOT MY FAULT SHE INHALES HER FOOD!

I can feel something but not really sure if she is poking her foot out (currently a favourite way of making me squeak) or if it is something I should be paying a bit more attention to.

Its been going on for a couple of hours now. Its wierd but not painful and doesn't seem to be getting any worse, or more regular. In fact, it seems to be getting less in last 10 mins but not sure that it won't pick up again any second.

Anyone know whether I should start getting excited or just ignore it until something else happens? No show, waters or anything else that would be more of a giveaway.

The best advice I can give is, when it's time you will know! so just ignore.
I spent best part of 3 weeks thinking 'is this it' because I was forever having BH's, but when I was really in labour, man did it hurt!
Contractions generally are less than ten mins apart and get more painful and more frequent.
I had a show a day or so before, and my waters didnt break until I was in hopsital, yet with my first born I had a show in the morning, waters broke at night then contractions started an hour later :rolleyes:
(now i've wrote that she's probably had the baby lol)

Hello Ladies, Long time lurker, first time poster!

I have a little boy who is 8 months old at the moment and is a nightmare just now!

He is teething, Has been cutting his first tooth for the past 2 weeks, It's only sticking out the gum about 1 or 2 mm at the moment and has been like this for at least a week! How long do they usually take to pop up?

Eating - Hardly eating any of his meals, Just wants milk all the time - could this be because of teething? He is usually a great eater!

Crawling - Has started crawling last week and is now cruising furniture, Into everything and is falling over and hurting himself ALL the time, Please tell me it gets easier, He doesn't want to sit still and moans if you try and hold him or anything but every time he is let loose he has a new bump on his head within a few mins

Any advice or ideas appreciated
