does anyone know how much the old style jumperoos normally go for on ebay, im watching one that ends later, does anyone kno how that sniper thing works? do u stil put a maximum bid on?

If you go to Advanced Search you can search by completed listings and compare prices to exactly the one you want. Sniping is just bidding late and bidding your maximum - it stops you getting sucked into a bidding war and stops other people from nibbling away and gradually inflating the price.

    Jumperoo final prices http://completed.shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?MA2ShowItems&_ipg=50&_sadis=200&LH_SALE_CURRENCY=0&_in_kw=1&_sacat=See-All-Categories&_samihi=&_samilow=&_fpos=Postcode&_oexkw=&_udhi=&_udlo=&_rdc=1&_sop=12&_ex_kw=&_nkw=jumperoo&_dmd=1&_okw=jumperoo&LH_Complete=1&guest=1
I found by doing an advanced search for 'jumperoo' and ticking the completeed listings box :)

I use AuctionStealer you just tell it ur maximum bid and it bids 20seconds before the end of auction ;)

jakesmummy - I use justsnipe and you put in the item number and a maximum bid, it then bids on your behalf right as the auction ends. It's clever and somehoe only bids as much as you need to win the auction within the maximum limit you set - meaning that you might get it for less ;) You get 5 free snipes a week I think, which is plenty for me. I've used it a few times.

The rainforest jumperoos go for about £50, but I'm not sure of the old style ones - significantly less I would think. If you go to the advanced search option on ebay and chose completed listings you can search to see what others have sold for. HTH

Wooooohooooo.. We have carpet :j :D
  • I too would recommend JustSnipe, I have to say that I'm a rotten eBayer now because I never put in a normal bid, I simply do last-minute snipes!!! I got fed up of always losing out to other people who snipe auctions and figured if I can't beat them ....

Postman just delivered a box from the fairies ;) Had a brief look and the contents are sooooooooo cute! :) Off out to SCBU just now but will unpack and have a better look later. Andrew should have had his initial ROP (retinopathy) assessment this morning, so keep fingers crossed for us ;)

  • Hi everyone :)

Well we had Dylans first physio this morning and it was really positive :j. There are a few issues, mainly his neck and apparently his legs which no one had mentioned before. The tone is out in almost all his muscles, but she can see that some of them are just tight which she should be able to work out for him, and some of them are a bit more what they call low tone. Have been given loads of exercises to do with him, and we have to frce him to do tummy time to get his sholders working a bit better and to make him lift his head.
The towel isnt working, so she has given me a tummy bar to put under him which has more support than a towel would.

The physio worked with him for 45mins and he didnt complain once, we came home, he had a sleep and after his bottle I tried doing some of the leg exercises and I got shouted at  Typical man :rotfl:

All in all, she doesnt think it is as bad as the 1st pediatrician thought, but there ae still a few concerns, and we are to go back next week to have another full session with her, and see whaere we go from there. I have to keep a diary of his little mini hyper times, as he goes a bit mental every now and again kicking and punching like he doesnt have total control, and if I can catch a lip tremmor on camera I am to video it and bring it too. She migh send him for an MRI once she sees these, but isnt sure.

Right that was a bit of an essay

((hugs)) to all hope you are all well xx
