    woohoo Mr3 :D

MIL just txt - shes a genius (on this bit) she said we should do an online shop to get food delivered to the cottage so we don't have to try and fit it in our boot that will be filled with the pram and our clothes easily!
but she's also a bint possibly :p I emailled her the hair dryer I thought of getting for BIL but she didn't reply so i bought it anyway now she's replied saying she doesn't think its fancy enough for his fussy-ship  EmLou are you about? she has a professional one that he uses now that is 2000w the one I got is a home one but 2200w so I don't see how hers will be better? apart from probably having a longer power cord

    Hi honey, I'm home :D

Had a wonderful time in Lanzarote! Benjamin was an angel the whole time (it's so much more fun with 2 full time parents!!!) and spent most of the trip excitedly shouting and smiling at the ladies!!

Hotel was fab, the food was great, the people were wonderful and Benjamin thinks that [STRIKE]swimming[/STRIKE] splashing in the pool is the most fun ever!

    How is everybody?

The grapevine bought me news from the beautiful Weezl and that baby Rhys' kidneys are doing good....can anyone give me a quick run-down of the other gossip?

I have missed you all loads and kept thinking of things I wanted to tell you all holiday!!!

Edit - Elle you are wonderful...

ETA: Sorry, keep getting distracted... Well done Mr 3 :T
  • well done mr 3 x
    :)Still searching .....:)
  • Morning all. Not caught up since last night, just popped in quick to say that Izzy latched herself on at about 5:30 this morning (after an hour or so of trying to get her to sleep!)... mostly comfort sucking, but she did drink a bit too. Fingers crossed she will do it again during the day! :T
Yay! The comfort sucking is just as important as the drinking sucking when it comes to milk production and baby's feelings of love and security :)

We had a semi-bad night, nothing compared to you guys with younger ones, but with some half-waking sobbing action in the small hours, no clear reason, never opened his eyes just wailed and reached and struggled against cuddles :/
Aimee went through a stage like this at about 19/20 months, she went from crying and needing a cuddle to crying and thrashing around resisting all attempts at comfort... I just used to rub her back and shush her a little... Another one of those 'phases' they all pass in the end...
Oh, and I've been exclusively breastfeeding for 5 months! Only 3% of babies are EBF at 5 months so I'mincreibly proud!
And so you blooming well should be! I'm just coming up to the 7% :D

Well in complete opposition to most other babies... Caitlyn fell asleep on Hubby's shoulder at 9pm last night and slept till 6am! She fed for 20mins but didn't go back so sleep so lay in her cot singing and shouting until 7 when I fed her again then she slept till 9:20... Thankkfully my friend is back to giving Aimee lifts to school so I don't have to wake her putting her in the pram at 8:30 anymore... Off out to booby group two now... Bizarrely, I just looked over at Caitlyn and very briefly she looked just like the older brother I used to have... Hope she doesn't end up like him!!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
