and thirdly I'm a very very bad mummy, had the dog down the beach today and El and I were throwin sticks in for him, I swung a stick back ready to thro it el moved and I smacked her right across the head with it, it was so hard it snapped the stick!! then when we got home she fell off her changer luckily i caught her by her jumper so instead of bumping on the floor I strangled her with her top.

  • Ladybird, have you tried anbesol for her gums? Did the Dr suggest whether her throat / tonsils are inflamed?

Maybe expressing a little more often while she's not feeding might be a good idea to keep your supply up... Is she taking the milk that you're expressing? Have you tried feeding her lying in a darkened room? Or while she's asleep?

Sorry loads of questions... Feel free to tell me where to go lol..

 at seven months?!?!?!?!?! Oh blimey.

Skinty, do not under any circumstances listen to anything Bruno or I say about night times!

Aaaaaanyway, Caz I know where you're coming from, Celai doesn't like to co sleep (but tbh neither do I, I like my space, I'd kick Himself out of bed if I thought I could get away with it!) and I can't feed lying down either, stupid back!

Speaking of which someone someone throw me out I really ought to go to bed! (Which reminds me, where's Sami?)

awwwww tss, it's tricky when something throws your normal pattern! I was a bit in fear of afternoon naps cos the HVs told us that any napping after 5.30 reduced any sleeping at 7.

Fergus might be an anomaly, but he's sometimes slept til 6 and gone down again happily at 7. Fingers crossed Archie might manage it?

Well I tried to put him down the normal time and it sort of worked, he sang to himself and talked to his toys in bed for a bit but went off fine. :D...We've kind of drifted into the big bed and out of the cot now as he says "sleepy byes" to me and snuggles up on the big bed before I can put him into the cot. So one night I left him there and apart from getting up WAY too early (5.30 am is regular at the mo) he is fine. Now I can get rid of the cot and he can have more space:j.
Can't wait till it gets a bit cooler, then I should be able to go out more. I can't walk far in this heat, I get really embarrased about sweating.

Feelie - have you tried pitrock? it works slightly differently to normal deoderant/ anti persperant and although I am overweight and normally sweat quite a lot I have the noticed the difference wearing this. You do have to be careful to put it on straight out of the bath/shower though as I gave myself a rash using it wrong the first time.
