Morning all. Still slightly grumpy baby this morning, and not interested in milk at all (not even from a cup), but she's had a mega breakfast and is back down for a nap without too much fuss (at least this blip is teaching us both that she CAN go to sleep without feeding to sleep!). She's still got a rash too, so we're off to the doctors this afternoon. No idea if she is teething AND poorly, or if it is all the same thing. At least you guys have only been talking to us online, so if it is chicken pox you guys don't have to worry
Was supposed to be first day at nursery today, but never mind. Hopefully it isn't anything catching, and she can go in on Wednesday!
Oh, it is our 2nd anniversary today. We had said we weren't doing presents, but DH insisted on going into town yesterday, and bought me something (a broach and some hankies, as it is cotton anniversary!) out of his spending money. (I didn't have any spending money this month, as the money I had left myself I had to pay over to the account so we had enough there for the council tax, but we're not having that fight today;) ) So I'm going to make him some flap jacks instead. Must go get the washing up done so there is room to cook!Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

Sorry Choppy, for some reason I thought you knew about Friday... We kind of arranged it last time you asked if you could join us as you weren't too far away... I'm sure we'll meet up again...
Keeley, you're sounding much happier than you were last time you posted... How are things with your neighbour now, any better? And well done Elliot on nearly walking!
Weezl, I'd like to know what you find out too... Its my biggest concern really...
Right, boobie group... Catch you all laterA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

HiThings got worse before they improved, she came back and smashed his tv up and they had a big domestic so I called the police as it was getting past a joke (especially late at night with elliot in bed). I'm not sure what's going on exactly, but he helped her move the baby's cot out and she hasn't stopped over since. He keeps walking off without her. Think she's pushed him too far, i'm hoping they have broken up for good.
So since then it's been a lot quieter, only a couple of short visits from them collecting post etc. I'm a lot calmer and happier when they're not hereIt's lovely and quiet again in the day.
I think i'm also happier because me and hubby have been a lot closer the past few weeks, doing more things together and talking more. Got a lot of things off my chest, and even my mom isn't annoying me so much!Mommy to Elliot (5) and Lewis (born xmas eve 11!)0 -
Ooooh Scruffy, just noticed in one of your pics of Ellie, she is wearing a mallorca apron, Keira has one of those!! Flippin' useless as an apron though, hers is paint stained and it won't come out.
Love her jumpsuit too!
Well I have caught Keira's cold, and can;t stop sneezing, must of woke up about 8 times during the night with either Keiras snoring, police sirens or my nose choked up!
Got my friends birthday party on the 2nd of Oct, she phoned me last night to tell me she's changed the plans again. We are now going into town for a few drinks, then going to her friends house where there will be lots of booze, and we'll be playing things like twister and jenga. Oh yes and everyone has to chip in £20. Well she isnt getting a present then! that night sounds gay too, twister.....and she better not invite her on/off junkie friends either, I don't wanna be watching someone gouching about with black teeth, put me right off my £20 tuna sandwich.....
Did say I'd go though.....
It's my birthday on the 18th of Oct, and I'm not doing anything, don't even want anything, she has always been a person who likes a big fuss though. Wish I had the plague then so I didnt have to go...0 -

Blooming heck, what on earths been going on over the weekend? I went away Friday morning to IL's and we were on page 32, I come back and we're on page 82!!!!
Might get chance to catch up at sometime but if not any chance of a summary? Had nice weekend, drove from Essex to Leicester to meet OH and LO was fine. Then weekend in north yorkshire before coming back yesterday. LO was obsessed with OH but put that down to him not seeing him for a week.... same again this week... only downer is MIL not sure she wants to look after LO in October for our weekend away...so might only be able to go for one night if my mum agrees to it.
Right off to do washing and shopping:jMum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -
I need to do some research about SIDS today. DH doesn't sleep soundly because of his concern about it, I hadn't really realised.
xxx
I would also be in interested in your findings! I have had some horrible comments about me letting Leila sleep on her tummy but no-one has really been able to back it up with hard fact. I have always assumed its to do with the risk of suffocation but then I suppose you have to weigh that up with the a slight risk of choking when on their back. I havent read anything really because if I did i'd probably have never slept when she was tiny. Its my view that if its going to happen it will happen and whilst you can do some things to minimise the risk, sadly it can happen despite all of that. So research away and report back to us xxxxProud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -
Oh my god that's another wasp in my house, in the kitchen this time.
I really can't cope with this! Why the hell are so many of them around right now and why do they fly 8 storeys high?!!!!!
