I'll come round Bruno, I love lamb! We have chicken but hubby's done something experimental with it... I definitely smell garlic, I don't know what else...
Just heard hubby tell Aimee "you're not poorly, you fell over!" she's obviously milking her elbow...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Do you ever get stuck in a rut about what to cook? I always have chicken/turkey/mince/sausages in the freezer, yet I totally have brain farts and end up cooking the same things, it gets boring. I have loads of cookbooks and always say to myself that I'm going to sit down, and pick a few recipes and get the bits I need etc, but then I never do. Why do things require about 345u345y34985 different ingrediants too, FRESH herbs all the time, Bah!
I've took mince out tonight, errr shepherds pie probably! Going to make the ribs & beans recipe from economy gastronomy book this week, why is belly pork so expensive though? £5 for 600g, and it looks like all fat to me! I'd rather leave that bit out - Weezl what could I use instead
Also bought some recipe books from Asda, like kids meals etc, dunno why I bought it because I have an annabel karmel one and a tana ramsey one (both unused lol)
It would be better if it was easy and straightforward!!
Will she milk her elbow for long? If it was Keira she'd be like "Oh get me my blanket, I can't do it because I have blood....."0 -
Keira decided to be a pirate earlier, so OH gave her sellotaped toilet tubes and made her a treasure map, it looks really good actually, he just tore some paper, rubbed damp coffee on it to stain it, then burned a few bits with my lighter, used the hairdryer to make it look/feel old and drew some skulls, and volcanoes etc on it.
Who needs expensive toys?0 -

the screaming of course continued til they gave up and went home
OF COURSE IT RUDDY WORKS, its been tried and tested for years!! i've never had any dealings with a child that age and even i know it works lol!!
of course, this is the child whos mum didnt mix with any other kids at all, she didnt speak til she was gone 2yo to anyone other than her mum, and still wont speak to other kids, only adults...!! starts school in september, that'll go well then :rolleyes:Mummy to

and asda do 4 frozen pork steaks for £2, we had them this week, really tastymuch less fat than belly pork. but its the fat that gives belly pork the flavour

Pork belly is lovely!!
She'll milk it for as long as she remembers... But the plaster will come off in the bath tonight... They always come off in the bath the same day or the next day to avoid the dirty grey ring around a scab effect...
Emlou, there's only one thing to say to that... Some people!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I seee... fry up, to me
Come to think of it, we have all the ingredients - might see if I can bribe OH to get cooking when he wakes up
Me calls it brunch
Bl00dy knackered today after all the walking around Cheshire Oaks yesterday - got some bargain fleece blankets in Au Naturel. 2 for £3.20!!
Jack ended up having far too many cuddles last night, I was constantly
being told he was hungry (he wasn't) so he had the smallest feed ever before bed and then woke me up at 12.30am. Had a big feed, went back down and then at 4.30am was whimpering to himself - picked up and he had puked all over himself.
So quick clean up, another bottle and then he went back down until 8.30am so we had cuddles in bed until 9.15am.
He's currently listening to the Grand Prix as he sleeps - he is so gorgeous and seems to be changing more and more every day!
Oh and yesterday - he rolled himself onto his side! Is that normal????
I have beef today - IL's were going to take us out for a carvery but OH said it was too expensive and offered for me to cook instead. That was nice of him wasn't it?!
Oh and my assistant from work has just found out she is 5 months pregnant!! I knew something was up cos she was throwing up all day every day but was having all sorts of investigations for it and it was all normal. I even asked her if she was preg and she said no, turns out she is! Work will be over the moon as she was covering most of my work while I'm off cos they've not found my replacement yet!
Right, better go and start the dinner :rolleyes:A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
What kind of meals are staples in you lots houses anyways if you don't mind? I read the OS board for inspiration but sometimes I don't know what half the food is and when someone writes something like chicken pasta bake.....I don't know what's in it beside chicken and pasta - me = clueless!
Okay I'll get the pork belly then! Lidl sells it, I'll just keep an eye out for one with the 30% sticker whacked on it
That kid sounds like a right bubble Emlou, obv her mothers fault!
Glam - Your OH sounds real nice....tell him to do it!0 -
oooo i forgot so say i had the most clearest dream ever ... i dreamt i was pregnant again  i dreamt that i took the test and at first i read it wrong and thought it said neg then read the box and realised it was poss  ... then i woke up .............. no thank you x
Still searching .....:)
