Not bad. Bit tired. You know what it's like trying to do the same things you normally do when you don't feel 100%.

Morning all... been up since 5.45, am under the impression Elijah is teething again; we had two nights of around 3-4am sudden sobbing and comfort-requiring without properly waking, and then today he started grinching at 5.40 and even after long cuddles and patting he wouldn't cheer up. He's finally cheered up now after some breakfast and a lot of sitting in my lap moping.
Just thought I'd share a part of our bedtime routine with people! OH BFs him before sleep each night. The way we judge whether he is tired enough yet is:
around his regular sleeptime, as soon as he shows any signs of maaaaybe being tired, OH says "Booby? Boooby??" to him. If he immediately starts bouncing on the spot and making urgent grinching noises, we know he's ready! (otherwise we try it again 5 or 10 mins later, til he shows the expected response!)
Re the parent bedtimes discussion:
I try to go to bed by 11, but it's usually 11.30 - that's partly because I like it when OH comes to bed at the same time, and she likes to stay up later a lot of the time - not usually after 12/12.30 though. It's not a big friction between us, she fully understands that as I get up with the baby typically at 6.30ish, spend maybe an hour with him then go to work, I will go to bed when I'm worn out!0 -
Bruno did you call someone about E having not had his 12mth jabs?
I'm scared that the TT electric is gonna be broken  last night the air tube filled with milk THREE times! Some leaked out but it was obvious that the inside has a coating and no way of cleaning so fingers crossed it's ok / TT replace because it shouldn't happen :undecided
back to bed now, TTFN xx0 -
Morning everyone
Love the pet photo's! I'm a cat person myself, but love the doggy pics too.
We've decided to change Elliot's routine slightly, up untill now he's been going to bed between 6-7pm and having a bottle at 10pm before i go to bed. But I don't want him having it so late anymore, as I can't clean his teeth without waking him up and getting angry! So last night he had his bottle at bedtime and his teeth cleaned, then I didn't feed him untill this morning
So he slept 7pm-6am, with no waking or feeds. I think he's really extremely well and i'm so proud of him! We've also swapped to free flow cups for all milk and water drinks now (was giving water in cup but not milk). I brought him a new cup to tempt him lol.
Bit random too, but he's had his first dressing gown on this morning and he looks so cute and grown up in it! (proud mom moment).
Hope everyone's okMommy to Elliot (5) and Lewis (born xmas eve 11!)0 -
Oh forgot to say aswell that Elliot is due his 12 months jabs, and i had his letter through with an appointment for.....midday on his BIRTHDAY! how cruel is that?! Obviously i've changed that! So mean. We're taking him out for the day anyway.Mommy to Elliot (5) and Lewis (born xmas eve 11!)0
