I spent most of my life wanting a cat (couldn't have one coz my sis is allergic and we had hunting dogs that would have killed it) non of my friends had catsso the first time I spent any amount of time with one was when I got with OH, only to find out I too am allergic
I'm dying to get a doggy, was supposed to get one for my birthday next year but I have a feeling it will be sooner unless Daddy gets one to keep me going. I feel lost with out a dog and Chris LOVES them, IL's have 2 but they're too boistress to let him play with them alone (as in just being around and not standing right next to him at all times NOT leaving him totally alone I'd never do that in case he did a typical idot child thing)
:mad:Hubby hasn't put in for hols at work today, if we lose the cottage because of his faffing I'll beat him round the head with the iron!0 -

Put it this way, you think how desperate you lot are for me to get these blooming carpets fitted and to stop waffling about them, and times it by a million.. that's how much I'm looking forward to having a decent nights sleep on Thursday, once the carpet is down, we can put the bed back together and sleep in it.. :cool:0 -

i used to hate dogs til i met my OH, at the time his parents had two border terriers (eric and saffy) which are the most awesome, good natured dogs you could ever imagine, then they got a black labrador (lewis) and then a springer spaniel (molly), so its a good job i'm not scared of them any more :rotfl:
i'd love a dog now but i just dont know enough about them to have one tbh, and i'd hate to be tied down with making sure theres someone in enough for one. i've always had cats, i think i'll always be more of a cat personMummy to

I havent let them near enough to find out yet. They have their own room in my mums house and the youngest 2 pups have an area of the sitting room which is fenced off for them. They just bark at her and Leila smiles at them. It will be a while before I let them near her and only then will it be the quieter ones just to gauge their reaction. The pug is way too boisterous, although as Leila gets older no doubt they will be the best of friends.Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0
