Morning everyone :) Love the pet photo's! I'm a cat person myself, but love the doggy pics too.

We've decided to change Elliot's routine slightly, up untill now he's been going to bed between 6-7pm and having a bottle at 10pm before i go to bed. But I don't want him having it so late anymore, as I can't clean his teeth without waking him up and getting angry! So last night he had his bottle at bedtime and his teeth cleaned, then I didn't feed him untill this morning :)

So he slept 7pm-6am, with no waking or feeds. I think he's really extremely well and i'm so proud of him! We've also swapped to free flow cups for all milk and water drinks now (was giving water in cup but not milk). I brought him a new cup to tempt him lol.

Bit random too, but he's had his first dressing gown on this morning and he looks so cute and grown up in it! (proud mom moment).

    Hope everyone's ok :)
:TWelldone you and Elliot! I finally got Chris off the bottle for bedtime milk a few months ago so you've done fantastic at under 1yr!
They look so sweet in a dressing gown don't they:)

    Thanks Sami, good memory! :)
Yes, I called and they apparently don't send letters out here, and only do baby appointments on Monday afternoons, therefore we got an appointment just before he turns 14 months... and of course there are supposedly 13 month jabs too, for which he'll be 15 months. So, bah. But at least it's booked.
oh how ridiculous, so they rely on parent remembering, I wonder how many kids don't have their jabs because of that:rolleyes:

MM - did you see the weather just befor 10am on bbc1? it was your town's turn to be on the map!

    Morning all..

Everything crossed for caz, and :j for Elliot and Keely :D

Well I got lots of sleep last night (thanks to OH being wide awake after his 7+ hour "nap") and we've had a nice morning so far. Going to take a wander to the shops later - really sunny here, not a cloud in the sky :)

Meant to tell you what the kidney scan said.. With the assistance of the lovely weezl, we now know there are no signs of swelling and no signs of hardening, which seems to be a distinct possibility with the high calcium levels he's been having so the fact they've caught the high calcium early and been able to treat it before things started to harden is very good news :D

I'm yet to find out how big his kidneys should be - I have the measurements so I know how big they are - but I think I might email the kidney specialist. I have her phone number but it seems a bit odd to phone her

No news yet on the brain scan, but the comms nurse said if there was a problem, they'd have phoned me by now so we're working on no news being good news :)

ETA: I had to chase up Rhys' 16wk jab appointment earlier this week. Not as bad as Bruno, but finally got an appointment for 18wks. By the sounds of it, they do send letters out here but they'd missed a whole batch as there were a lot of mums of 16wk olds on the phone to the HVs that day!
