    Having read your other posts, it seems they have absolutely no proof that it was you driving that car on that day. So, how exactly are they going to take you to court? They can't take the registered keeper of the car to court, only the driver, if they have no idea who the driver is - they have no case. There will be no court, they will give up.

    The law has now been changed wrt parking: see Private Parking Regulations (Amendments) 2009 - HMSO ISBN Publication No: 26535473289

    The new law states:

    If you have an IQ between 0 and 12 you MUST send the money within 7 days.

    If you have an IQ between 13 and 21 you MUST send the money within 21 days.

    If you have an IQ over 21 and can read you do not need to pay at all.
