Here's my favourite one, a guy bought a t-shirt and then e-mailed to say he wanted large (it clearly stated Extra Large in the title and description) - I told him we had no stock of large and he said fine he would like to have it anyway as he really liked the shirt.

And then he didn't pay. And he didn't respond to any e-mails. So after 10 days I opened an unpaid item dispute. He didn't respond to that either.

A week after I successfully closed the dispute I got the following e-mail:

I laughed heartily for about half an hour. The feedback never showed up. Funnily enough we never heard from the solicitor...

lmao you should of told him to spend his money on spelling lessons not ebay items

If they don't respond to the NPB dispute within 7 days they can't leave feedback

The 'my dog/cat walked on my keyboard and bid' always makes me laugh, or the child done it...

Well, I have had this one... and actually it was credible, too.

In this case it was a second purchase from the same BIN listing. The first one was done about 8pm, the second one about 5am. Thinking it looked like a strange buying pattern (and it was a large item you wouldn't want two of, anyway) I called the buyer, and asked if he'd really intended to buy two... he was totally horrified, wondered who had hacked his account etc, then twigged he'd left the listing open and his PC switched on all night. And yes, the cat was in the room all night :rotfl:

No problem, he paid for the first, we cancelled the second and got glowing feedback for our customer service. Just goes to show, sometimes it could be the cat :D
