Best one i have at the mo is someone who's "mum has died" and is waiting for the insurance to pay out before she completes on the 99p item she has just bought. Then the shock has put her in hospital and can only email quickly as she is on patient line. Doesn't seem to have stopped her paying for anything else though !0

Not so much the excuse but....i sold a dress to a lady in America, after winning she said that she didn't want it...I explained that she still needed to pay or risk getting a strike.....she emailed me back to say "I will pray for your misery this summer".....nice!Never put off until tomorrow what you can avoid doing altogether.:D0

a little while ago i got one from a guy saying it was his wife who had bid on the item, but she had been killed the day before by a hit and run driver so no longer needed the item....
i was tempted to write back and ask why if he was so traumatised had he just bought, paid for, and left positive feedback for a 37" TV and a new car....
but i politely cancelled the transaction and said nothing :lipsrseal
