I think in this case though, the tickets aren't on offer. The poster stated she specifically couldn't go, not her sister and her kids, who I assume she will want to be able to go, hence asking the question about whether it matters about the name being on the ticket.
...so she's giving them away to her sister......technically both correct and incorrect :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

and..... some people might have had experience of a certain cinema in a certain place asking for ID so the question might have been needed after all :P0

Venezuelan Film Festival
Zamora, land and free men
This is the latest film by Rom!n Chalbaud, and it explores the life of Ezequiel Zamora, one of the protagonists of the most violent period in the history of Venezuela.
The Venezuela in which Zamora lived and died was a country decimated by the War of Independence, dismembered into enormous fiefdoms in the hands of the large landowners who emerged from the war with their pockets bulging, betraying, along the way, the people and the leaders who gave their lives to liberate the country from Spanish oppression.
In Zamora the leading roles are played by Alexander Sol!rzano, Daniela Alvarado, Dilia Waikkar!n, Eric Ekvall, Luigi Sciamana, Julio C!sar M!rmol, Alberto Gal!ndez, Antonio Cuevas, Asdr!bal Mel!ndez, Dimas Gonz!lez, Eduardo Gadea P!rez, Antonio Delli, Anastasia Mazzone and Ram!n Hinojosa. The script is by the veteran Venezuelan writer Luis Britto Garc!a. The film is a La Fundaci!n Villa del Cine production.

Commando X
The film relates the exploits of Manuel, a character who owes a lot to the Spanish picaresque tradition. Poor, without a penny to his name, Manuel pretends to be the exact opposite in order to win the heart of Luc!a, his boss' stunning-looking daughter.
However, things get complicated for Manuel when he gets involved with a radical group of commandos who want to overthrow the President. Manuel suddenly finds himself having to choose between saving his love or saving the city from terror.
This political comedy is directed by Jos! Luis Varela, with the script by Henry Herrera.

Postcards from Leningrad
For the young narrator of Postcards from Leningrad, being born into a socialist uprising in 1960s Venezuela wasn't easy. She and her cousin Teo have learned how to live a clandestine life, making an ongoing game out of survival, with everything from code names and creative disguises to making themselves invisible and devising fantastic escape plans. A visual collage with playful animation and nostalgic footage of revolutionary youth, the film injects both humour and pathos into a story where wild fantasies, foggy memories, madness, white lies, and grief all mix seamlessly in a child's reality. Nominated by Venezuela for the 2008 Oscars and for Spain's 2008 Goyas.

Blocks
The film is directed jointly by Alfredo Hueck and Carlos Caridad, each of whom covers stories from their own apartment block, turning them into half a film. The result is a cinematographic diptych, made up of two half-length films.
Blocks is really two films in one, with some points, themes and dramas in common. The first story, from the first block, called "The final faliure", is directed by Alfredo Hueck and written by Julio Balam. It tells a loves story with sombre overtones of Bukovsky.
The other, second block, (*Getting across the barrier"), written by Marcel Gonz!lez Ávila and directed by Caridad, is a story of family disintegration, triggered by an act of corruption.

Dog Hearts
Set in a place undefined in terms of time and location. The story starts one night when Eva is arguing with her only son, who, a few minutes later, turns up dead in a nearby park. She sees the boy's best friend leaving the scene, and accuses him of the crime, fuelling a lethal hatred. After a painful period of mourning, Tom!s appears in her life, because they have decided to mate their respective dogs. In each visit, while these two antagonistic and solitary characters sit on the sofa waiting for what must happen between the two animals, love starts to spring up between them.

Festival: VENEZUELA IN THE DOCUMENTARY
There is much to learn about Venezuela and the process of progressive transformation it is undergoing. No other genre can convey this reality better than the documentary. Since just before the election of Hugo Chavez as President of Venezuela in 1998, a large number of documentaries have captured the rich and multifaceted nature of the Bolivarian process in which the poor, women, workers, peasants, students, youth, the mass driving force of progressive change in this simultaneously oil-rich but poverty-stricken nation, are shown taking their destiny in their own hands. The VENEZUELA IN DOCUMENTARY FESTIVAL is a small but representative sample of the growing documentary interest that the Bolivarian process has awoken.
