Not sure if you've seen but there's a Cineworld £1 ticket offer (including 3D films) available at the minute. If anyone is interested, could you sign up via my link below so I can get a referral credit. Thanks

    a few points...
1, no referral links are allowed on the boards - no doubt a mod will remove it
2, your link is only for london, you have to click on the city that you live in, and for mine, it is sold out
    3, cheers for trying :)
4, ITS ALREADY IN MARTINS WEEKLY EMAIL, CLICKING THE LINK IN THE EMAIL WILL EARN MSE SOME MONEY INSTEAD :D - http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/discount-voucher-codes#city

Saw the Blind Side last night, REALLY loved it. Though can the large number of people who turned up late to the Didsbury showing try and
    a. keep it down in future and
    b. turn up BEFORE the film starts

    most annoying.

Agree with you - thought admissions were not allowed after the start. If it happens regularly why not speak to your Manager. Pretty good at our cinema & hardly anyone allowed in late. Latecomers would have been unlucky for our viewing of the Blind Side on Monday as the cinema was almost full. Really enjoyed the film.

Saw Education yesterday - having a really good week - 4 free showings in 6 days! I enjoyed the film although my husband couldn't get into it. Don't know why. Perhaps it is more a girils film?

We didn't get to see Blindside in Cheltenham last night along with LOTS of other people, no one said it was first come first serve and it was really a disappointment, luckily I had a Telegraph voucher and Moon was about to start, I really wanted to see Blindside too...there are never many SFF in Cheltenham :-(

I know it can be annoying when latecomers arrive but please don't be too harsh on them. I've been late before through no fault of my own and I've been in a right tizzy worrying if I will be admitted or not, then relieved when I am.

But I agree about noisy people late or otherwise. I was at the cinema last night and I always get the talkers/texters who decided to sit by me. After about 15 minutes, I told them I was there to watch/see film not them. Didn't work. After about an hour, i was really cheesed off so decided to use a torch which is on my mobile phone. They were most annoyed to have a bright white beam of light directed straight at them. Told them loudly in response to their moans, that I waws fed up with them talking/texting and they shouldn't dish it out if they didn't want it back. It worked for a while, so when they talked and texted again, I got the torch out. Sadly the quiet didn't last for long but it was satisifying to get my own back lol even if it wasn't completely successful.

Just as a matter of interest, you printed out a ticket that didn't give you allocated seats, how did you think people would be admitted other than first come, first served?

I am absolutely furious! Someone cheeky so and so posts a referral link on the codes thread, which as most will know is a breach of the forum rules. Not only was it a referral link but it was taken from Martin's own weekly email.

As a warning to others I posted a warning on the code thread but I'm sure most will appreciate that it wasn't chat it was a warning and also to alert the Mods that it is a referral link.

Some little upstart called thefrenzexperiment who only joined in March this year and has the grand total of 1, yes one post sent me a pm with the words "NO CHAT !!!!!!!!!!"

This rude person will be reported and I've told them as much but to anyone else who receives a rude message from this little know-it-all, don't put up with this kind of behaviour, report them. Maybe then, they will take the time to check out a persons profile and see what kind of posts they make before being as rude and arrogant as they were with me!

It does explain in both Martin's email and on the site itself. You will be sent a Cineworld voucher by post and you take it to the Cineworld cinema of choice, go to box office and instead of paying for ticket you exchange the voucher for a ticket to see any film youw ant, including 3D films.
