Hello, I went to see my first free film today. In fact my first no spend freebie since I joined here. I went to see the Blind Side. What a brilliant film! I'm so glad I enjoyed my first experience so I'll try to do this again. Whoo hoo! :jWeight lost since Jan 15th 35 pounds :jOpinionBar Rewards so far £23.20 "Money found on the street since 15th March 2010" personal challenge £1.74. I went to see The Blind Side this morning but unfortunately the projector broke down about an hour after the film had started. Full marks to Vue Sheffield who gave everyone free tickets to see a film of their choice, including 3D. anytime until Thursday.0

How grown up you are. I've actually been on this forum for years, but lost my account last year when I got a new email address. I actually only signed back up to PM you as your pathetic reprimand to that poster (who was only trying to be helpful) made me so unbelievably angry.
ANY long time user of this forum knows how annoying it is when they receive notifications for pointless chat and YOU, quite breathtakingly, added to it with total ignorance.
You should have just PM'd the poster politely, which would a) have not generated an annoying notification, and b) not left the poster feeling 'told off'.
I know you have lots of excellent input on this forum, but it doesn't mean you can go round acting like a !!!!!!.
Peace.
Well, I do feel quite "grown-up" in comparison to you. Let's compare shall we.
I politely point out that I think the poster will find that referral links are not allowed. Then so people can find the onfo for themselves, I point out that it is to be found in Martin's weekly email and on the site itself.
You, being a grown-up, sign up just to send me a pm that contains swear words albeit clouded by text speak.
I think that's 1-0 to me in the grown-up ranks.
I responded badly, I admit, by replying to your pm but I will not take offensive language from anyone. I posted a warning about you on here and pasted your pm to let others know what kind of member you are in case they too get a similar pm from you. Some people would be intimidated to receive such a message.
As I am a fair minded person, let's call that 1-1.
I have been unwell for the past few days and haven't been online for the last two of those so haven't yet read or responded to your latest pm. However, from reading the alert briefly, I can see that you want to use the old, 'I've been a member of this forum longer than you' ploy.
I can't remember when I first joined this forum but I do know I was around in 2004 and probably earlier but the email address I used is no longer around and I messed up when trying to log in some years later, sending the password reminder to the long gone email account. As I was unable to be an active member at that time, I only re-joined when I lost my father and when i bought a new computer. Hence whatever my date currently shows as. I will try to find out what my board name is to see if my recall is correct.
I now find you have made a further post but on the discussion board and this time you refer to me as a '!!!!!!'.
It seems to me that we are back to square one and your use of unpleasant language. I can be as foul mouthed as anyone and maybe more than most BUT I try not to do so on message boards and certainly not under the circumstances you do so. You seem to be very highly strung. Maybe it is you who should chill, especially when you took such offence at my original mild worded post by responding in such nasty worded posts.
That makes it 2-1.
Peace back to you:)0 -

I was there too and we was really getting into the film. Thought something was wrong when the lighting stated flickering and heard the projector hiss. Was a good guesture of vue since it was a free showing anyway.
Went to see green zone later instead with our free tickets. Though when this film started it was blurry! I thought oh no not again but someone told a member of staff and they sorted it.
Getting to see 1 and 1/2 films for free not bad for one day out

I saw this today... I found it rather boring, funny in parts, but very very unbelievable. I don't think I was alone in this thought as about three or four couples walked out during the film.
And for the first time I was asked for ID for a seefilmfirst freebie!
What a contrast to last Sunday when I saw The Blind Side!“It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living.”

Lol what did you expect? It's Happy Ever Afters... :P
Also, went to see Old Dogs and was pleasantly surprised after looking at review scores. It reminded me of Liar Liar which is always a good thing. Though part of the reason for this was there was a music score which was blatantly ripped from Liar Liar. If you've seen both you should know what I mean.0 -
I missed out on every film that was available today. Was looking forward to seeing How to Train Your Dragon but have been told it wasn't up to much. Did anyone else ess it?
After seeing the poster for Old dogs, I had it down as a film to see so most unhappy that I couldn't make it today. Is it worth seeing outside of a free preview? I get the idea from the poster that it is a daft film and not to expect much from it. Which is fine by me if it is.0
