I got tickets at lunchtime with the telegraph PDF alone (no paper). The poor guy did not know what I was talking about but he talked to a couple of people and did it anyway.0

Then 1 of them had a walkie talkie conversation with someone and they said everything was fine. This was on Saturday so 2nd day of promotion and they said I was the first to use it. Went to see Twilight-New Moon. May go back today.:)
When we went in yesterday to book for 3 of the showings we spoke to the Manager. She was not aware of the offer but read our printout & said fine.
Absolutely no problem with the cashier who seemed to be more aware of the offer than the Manager.
I used the voucher from the website so 3 showings x 2 absolutely free. Great offer.0 -
I went to the Shaftesbury Avenue cinema yesterday to see An Education and cashier just took voucher and passed over the tickets, no problem, so maybe they've had people using them there last few days. Think I'm going back on Monday for more. Just off to see The Blindside now. Loving it.0

Gosh! Yesterday I went to see Bad Lieutenant, and I think I can say that not even Ed Wood would have made it so boring, and I'm talking about Hollywood's worse film director.
Herzog, as far as I am concerned has very highs and veeeeeeeeeeeeery lows.
For me, this one belongs to the low ones veeeeeeeeeeeery low ones.
I wonder what Keitel thinks. His interpretation was so majestic that at one point it became scary, I still remember it and that is about 17 years ago.
No, not even Ed Wood! Thanks to those who help us to win !0 -

Well, I loved it......
I also loved Sandra Bullock....... which I must admit I don't often say.
Here she never cracked into her usual 'humourous/quirky' alter-ego.
I found the first few minutes a bit puzzling, and there is no getting away from the fact that an indepth knowledge of American football may have enabled me to be able to follow the dialogue better....
But I loved it.
A lady two seat away was openly crying and wiping her eyes, the rest of us just quietly sniffed and discretely blew our noses.
Excellent feel good movie, made all the better for it being based on a True Story - do stay for the credits at the end, as there are photos of the main characters "in real life" I assume.
The time flew by - although my son thought it was half an hour too long..... but I cannot see that there was any part which needed radical pruning.
Laugh, cry, many many morals to the tale, and....... but I won't tell you the ending !!
.....the only thing missing was someone bursting into song.
A very up-market "based-on-Real-life made-for-TV" film
9 out of 10 from TOB, and 8 out of 10 from Master Bag = 8.5 out of 10 from Bag Family0 -
Totally agree 'The Old Bag'.
Was a fantastic movie. Definiteley worthy of it's Oscar nominations.0 -
Watched the Blind Side (my first freebie) today and absolutely loved it. So what happens now.....? Do I have to fill in any forms or tell the world about its brilliance. I feel I must have to do something for this freebie. Why do they do this for us? And when's the next one.....?:beer:0
