After all the codes we've had, I do hope that Blind Side will be an enjoyable film.

I thought it was a pretty good (true) story and Sandra Bullock is excellent.

Also, Leap Year is much better than I expected, pretty funny actually..

I'm going to see Blind Side on Sunday rather then the Monday so I will have seen it prior to the Oscars plus I will be tired on the Monday after watching the Oscars live.

I had hoped to see The Crazies and Leap Year today but I was so tired I decided to sleep at home rather than at the cinema :p

Is anyone aware of a RSS feed, for postings placed in the Cinema Codes forum?

I'm no expert but I haven't come across an RSS feed for this site but you might want to email one of the techies. You will see where to click to do so at top of page.

still too early to call BAC but in case anyone was thinking of going the BAC website doesn't list a wed aft showing of polar bear. went to the site to check out who he was etc...

the sff site says there is an aft showing and lets you book tix. hmmm. curious. maybe it's a school's showing? been to one of those before and think i prefer to be sat in room full of adults. justbe warned to check before you travel if that time is most convenient for you.

am going tonight. always have mixed feeling abt that venue as is 1.15 drive but a gorgeous place once you are there. cheers marialionza!

  • Hi guys, Im new to this thread, but I managed to get me a couple of free tickets for tuesday.

I was just wondering, is it just like going to see any other film that you pay for? or is it smaller? not whole film? bits missed out?

Im guessing the theatre will be full of people! but is that the only thing that differs?

    Cheers :)

I got tickets at lunchtime with the telegraph PDF alone (no paper). The poor guy did not know what I was talking about but he talked to a couple of people and did it anyway.

You see the whole film, all of it, no bits out. The only thing different is you don't get adverts or trailers so if it's for a film that starts at 6.30 the film starts at 6.30. I usually get there early get myself a nice seat and have a chat with whoever I've gone with. I'd rather have a chat for bit that sit through adverts and trailers. The cinema may or may not be full, I've been to 30% full and a couple neary full.

    Enjoy your first free film

Just to add that some cinemas do show trailers now, which I personally enjoy.

The ones I've been to have been varied between 20 people or so full there wasn't enough seats and people had to leave! Mainly though it's been about 70% capacity. I always get there a bit early to ensure I get the seats I want.
    Enjoy:rotfl:
