Free Cinema Tickets - Discussion thread

Hi there,

I've got tickets to the Sky screening of The Blind Side in Croydon on 1st March but I can't go now and I appear to have deleted my email confirming the screening too Does anyone know an email address or link where I can cancel my tickets?

You just need to log into your Sky account and go to Sky extras and you can choose from several options to cancel your ticket.

Sorry to post this twice but I have already posted this on the cinema code thread:

Will you please understand the reason there is no chat is that a lot of people subscribe to this thread and get notified when there is a new post.....this means often people pay to check the post via their mobile phone to see if there is a new code...it isn't about chat police it's about common courtesy...there are other threads for chat...I realise I am doing the same thing now but I am so frustrated by receiving 3-4 alerts per day from people posting items about cinemas being full or 'oooh won't we be in trouble with the No Chat Police' If you have a response to this please post in the cinema ticket chat thread!

I know I am quite new to posting on the forum but it has done so much for me already I felt I needed to post the above. My DH and I have already been to see 2 free films this year and could have seen at least 3 more if we didnt have prior commitments. This has been absolutely brilliant and we would never have seen these films if it wasn't for the fantastic people posting codes on this forum.

I just want to say thanks so much to the code posters....and to the others can you please try to understand that people aren't being funny it is just frustrating when you are subscribed to a thread where people are posting comments instead of codes.

What you did is quite understandable but don't expect anything less than ignorant comments from the MSE Morons. No matter how many times people like myself ask them nicely not to chat and we even post the url to the discussion thread, they continue to post presumably for the attention they get. Pathetic isn't it.

People like myself are called the MSE Police but what they don't understand is that we normal users don't make the rules. Neither do they understand why these rules exist.

Hopefully a moderator will remove their silly comments.

Thanks Fairy_gurl and Poochface. I am very conscious of being a newbie on the forum so didn't want to cause any offence.

I think the forum is great though and have learnt so much ) so far have received freebies in the post, gone to see free films received discounts and cashback and paid extra money off my credit card. Plus started my own veggie garden which I am really excited about :j

I am not a 'happy clappy' kind of person normally but I have learnt so much from reading this forum and wanted to say thanks to everyone who has contributed, it may only seem small things to some but this forum has made a massive difference to my life and I am truly grateful to all those involved. In particular I have been able to get some nice stuff/outings for my 70+ FIL who is a wonderful man who lost his darling wife (and in some parts the will to live) last year. Being able to take him for days out or treat him is worth more than words can say so thank you to all who make this possible when money is tight.

The people doing most of the chat on the main thread seem to be doing it out of spite. Looking at the posting history of SkyPaulusPlus is interesting. He's obviously a mentally challenged teen.

I've turned off my instant notification as I'm sick of getting text alerts directing me to these pathetic posts. Any chance they can have posting rights removed?

I cannot believe the childishness of some of the people on the codes thread, honestly its like "I need to get the last word in ner ner ner ner"!! OMG, my nephews primary school friends are more grown up, its really laughable and yes Jmahood I agree with all you have said!!!!

More than mentally challenged I think they are just people who don't like themselves and need to get their anger out of their chest creating a general malaise among others. It's the same disturbance that gossipers and arrogants have just sheer self hatred. We already know the avatar they hide under so when you see their names on the screen don't open their message. These kind of people will always exist, and so will we. So let's learn to ignore them, with time it becomes easier (to ignore).
I do know and understand some people pay every time they open the forum but their posts are design to molest, don't allow them. See them as sad people, very sad people. That's all they are, troubled minds. Arrogant minds.
