    Just back from Case 39
Wow, now I remember why I don't like horror movies !!

Screening was half full/empty depending on your view on things, and it was only a small screen.

Nice to see Renee in a different type of film, yet she sort of plays the same role, iyswim
This film certainly had me jumping out of my seat on several occasions..... and even looking away from the screen...... in anticipation of the next scary bit.
But then I was a child who hid behind the sofa when Dr Who was on - the originals obviously !

I found the last third very predictable - but then I have been forced to sit through too many scary movies, so I have probably seen every combination of story line twist and turn..
Having read the synopsis the whole film was predictable, but the first half at least was well done in the way the story played out and the tension built slowly. From the middle it then seems to speed up - too fast imo - and galloped to the end
For me the ending was perfectly timed...... I mean, any 'what happened next' would just be so complicated that it was the right place to stop the camera.

A good night out, scared out of my wits, on a high because I am still alive and it was all make believe.....7.5 out of 10 from The Old Bag

I have just got tickets to Blindside ( thanks for all the codes folks, just shows perseverance pays off sometimes) I will read up about it and hope it is a bit less scary.
Unfortunately No Alice near me, so Johnny will not be able to lighten my gloom :p
  • Im new to this site, can someone please tell me how seefilmfirst works?

I've entered the code, selected my cinema, registered, and printed this ticket with my name on it.

Now what? Are there any catches/costs associated? Is it totally and unconditionally free? If so, why offer this to the public?

You've done the hard work easily now sit back and enjoy the product. Whenever you have the film, go along and give the ticket to the usher and that's it. Soon you'll start wanting for more! No catches just a tremendous thrill for freebies!:A

That will only mean one thing: be early for the screening!

exactly what i am thinking - never known that still tickets this long after a code - unless they just release more late on tonight for some reason
  • There are loads of tickets left because
    1) A lot of those who normally get in first are out watching "Alice" tonight
    2) There are a lot of cinemas in the list - a lot more than usual.
    3) Many will already have tickets for the Sky screening on monday - like me!
  • Just got tickets to see The Blind Side using the SFF code 64445 which was not the latest code that had been posted. Not sure if this works at all cinemas but it did at mine and I had tried the newer codes there and been unlucky.

Took my mum to see Case 39 and we both expected a police drama/thriller thing. We were so scared - especially mum - she jumped a lot and made a few squeaks which made the people sat next to me laugh! As we were leaving the show an older couple told us they had not been expecting a horror either and were a bit overwhelmed by it all. Good film for people who like that kind of thing - hope that The Blind Side is not such a shocker though.
  • Another reason for not buying the cinemas' overpriced snacks:
