Two tickets just returned for The Switch at Sheffield - tonight 18:30
  • Hi all, I have tickets to go and see The Switch tonight at the Odeon, Silverlink courtesy of showfilmfirst but its the first time ive been and used a code/ticket/thing and I was just wondering what I do with the print-out ticket. Do I go to the desk with the page and will they give me the normal tickets or is the print out the actual tickets so I just go to an allocated place with them or something? Sorry if I sound so stupid I just dont want to get there and look a fool hehe. Thanks

hey chelsea, ive been to silverlink with free ones many a time :)

all you need to do is print out the ticket and take it to where you'd normally hand in your tickets (between the sweet bit and the bar) its first come first served so people will get there from 6, but silverlink make people wait round before letting them in. get there about 6 and hang round til they let people in. i'm gonna use my magic skills and guess you'll be in screen 4.... watch out for the darkness trying to find a seat :) remember to take your own sweets and drinks too, keep the cost right down

So is it first come first served even though i've got the print out? I assumed that if iv got my print out then I definitely have a place? :S. and I always take my own sweets hehe ;)

annoyingly sometimes the companies let out too many tickets, tho out of the 23 movies ive seen for free people have only been turned away once that i could see. more so the seats are a free for all, so the first in queue gets the best seat etc, the last gets the very front row seats lol

no doubt i'll see you at a preview sometime and i'll give you a wave

Ah, I see I was hoping to get there for about 6 - 6.15 anyway for the best seats so hopefully I'll get in :) Its just 'cos I live about 15 miles from the silverlink so I dont want to drive all the way there and get turned away! Thanks for the help and Il be sure to give you a wave back :p
