    What? It's good, but has nothing on the original.

    Anyway, I hope Toy Story 3 tickets come soon!

    Got tickets for Inception at leicester square, my first time ever going to a cinema in leicester square.

    Hope it goes well, anyone else got ticket for that showing at 13th july ?

    Well done. I'm going too. :) I'm planning on getting there a little early. The ticket said 6pm for a 6:30pm start which seems really early though.
    Thanks MSE!!

    I liked the new Karate Kid, although I thought they should have called it Kung Fu Kid like in Asia, I think I would have been making less comparisons, but would have still kept it in the family of the films.

    It was good, the kids enjoyed it and it was quite funny. but for me the original is the best!!

    I'll be there at 6pm too, went to Karate Kid screening 30 minutes earlier as well.

    Well worth it, get the best seats then nip off for the pop corn or toilet etc;

    I have been to a few over the years in leicester square. Its pretty much the same deal as everywhere else. I usually get there about 6.15 and get good seats.

    Thanks to FIVE, I just watched the original KK and I concur, the original is still the best.

    Original = 7-7.5/10

    New Version = 6-6.5/10

    Completely agree once you watched the original the new one tended to lack any impact as you knew what was coming up,Jaden Smith was good but will never beat Ralph Machio

    Just started to watch the original KK but switched over to watch World Cup... I prefer the new one! I've not seen Ralph start practising yet though, it's only at the high school dance.... so I may change my mind.

    What I do think is that Ralph is older than Jaden and I think his age is more suitable because I thought Jaden was a bit young (or maybe he looks younger than 12!). I thought the new one was unsuitable for 8 year olds.

    The new one is a bit violent for the kids my daughter said that and she is 11 couldn't understand why they called the new one Karate Kid when he isn't even practising Karate and for my mind martial arts has to be taught over years and can't just be picked up in 5 minutes as in the film, in the heyday of the original Ralph Machio was a bit of a heartthrob.:j:j
