Have you got A team tickets?
No mate. Basically, the movie has been released on DVD in Russia and one of my cousins is going to buy and send it me.
In an effort to crack down on the Russian black-market, Hollywood studios (some of them) decided to release films onto DVD faster than anywhere else in the world.
Here's a little excerpt about this format:
"The name R5 refers to DVD Region 5, which includes the former Soviet Union, the Indian subcontinent, and much of Africa.[5] In an effort to compete with movie piracy in these areas, the movie industry chose to create a new format for DVD releases that could be produced more quickly and less expensively than traditional DVD releases"
My cousin just told me, The A-Team is due for release very soon, which is absolutely brilliant for obvious reasons - 1) Don't have to wait for the UK theatrical release date 2) Watch it in the comfort of my own home and 3) It' is legal.
Before any Forum Managers start, everything I have said or described above is 100% legal.0 -
am too excited to see it! its out on the 28th of this month yeno! by the time it is released in russia, your cousin buys it and sends it to the uk it will probably be on here yeno!

Please forgive me for not reading the previous posts (where I'm sure my question will have been answered already). I'm in a bit of a rush as I have to go out in about 20 minutes and have chores to finish first.
I've been registered with SeeFilmFirst for over a year and have just today received an email with a code for free tickets to The Karate Kid. I just want to check how this works please? It seems too good to be true. I've printed the ticket out - do I just hand that in at the cinema and that's it, they let us in for free?
I seem to remember reading ages ago that you still need to get there early or you might find all the seats have gone, despite having a ticket. Is that correct?
Again, sorry not to have read back, I'm just pushed for time and would really appreciate it if someone more knowledgeable could clarify these points for me?0 -

Yep, its as easy as that, just print out the ticket prior to going, then walk up to where they check the tickets, showing them what you have printed (rather than going to where you pay). They will them show you what screen to go to. As for arriving early, I have arrived late a couple of times, with no problems, except that you get the worst seats.Best Freebies/Wins/Testers so far: HP Officejet Pro 8500, Vax Zen, Thorpe Park Tks, 2x Rockwell Tkts, Windows 7, 2x Chelsea vs Arsenal Tkts, Genio Phone, JLS Tickets, 2 PSP games, 2 Xbox 360 games, iPod Touch, Blackberry Torch, Westlife Tkts, Tinie Tempah tkts, New York Trip AND MORE...Thanks to all posters on here:beer::T0 -

Thank you! Much appreciated :beer:0 -
Hiya, I managed to grab some tickets for the Karate Kid showing tomorrow (first tickets for ages!) Do any of you know if there is a minimum age limit for these tickets (I don't mean due to the actual film classification)? I registered my 13 yo son and wanted to let him go with a friend without me
Read the T&C at SeeFilmFirst and no mention of ticketholders age.

Its a PG, you'll be fine, I took my 6 & 7 year olds, who really enjoyed it.
Edit : Read that again, see what you mean, I am still sure you'll be fine, after the screening SSF emailed us feedback survey's, including one for an under 16 reviewer.:hello:0 -
Saw Predators last night. Points to note:
- Nothing to do with that donkey turd movie, Alien vs. Predators.
- Attempts to be a true 3rd part to Predator 1 and 2 and surprisingly stands up well
- Predator 1 is still the best
- Few moments in this one where they try to link it Predator 1 (worked for me)
- On par or slightly better than Predator 2 in my opinion (never really thought too much of the sequel even though a lot of people think it's the best of the series)
- Would I watch the follow-up to this one if it came out? Most definitely.
Overall rating 6.5/7 out of 10.0 -
Does this annoy other people or is it me being miserable... People showing up late for a film, ie after it's already started, then:
(1) asking you/others to move so they can sit together. Tough. Sit separately, you can't chat during the film. I don't mind, if the film hasn't started, but it annoys me when the film's started, everyone has settled and people ask you and others to move up just for them.
(2) late comers who sit down, then decide they don't want to sit there, so get up and move to a different seat.
(3) late comers in general!
(4) Applies to anyone: those who chat during the film or whose phone rings. Also the woman in front took her shoes off and put her feet up on the arm of the chair in front. If I was sitting in front, I would have asked her to move her smelly feet.
Anyway, saw Karate Kid again today... just as good as the first time... People cheered and clapped at the end.
Jaden Smith is soo cute. However, I think it's a bit violent and wonder if it's really a PG film. The scenery is really beautiful and makes me want to visit China. Does anyone know where that mountain to the Dragon Water/Well is? Although I'm scared of heights. Walking up there would be fine, not sure about the journey down though.
Also does anyone know what violin music that girl was playing?“It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living.”
