Anyone have any idea how Orange Wednesdays work? Once you text do you choose a cinema? If I can work around it I may as well share my Orange Wednesdays with whoever wants it because I work and then have meetings on wednesdays so I doubt I'll get a chance very often. Sorry if it's in the wrong place.

You don't have to text every week. Texts cost 35p and you text the word "FILM" to the number 241. You would only text really when you want to go to cinema. You would then get a text message back with a code.

You then take your phone with the text it to any participating cinema (most participate), along with friend/whoever and show it at box office, you just pay for one ticket.

And thats about it really. You don't have to choose a cinema until after you've text if you want. Just turn up and show the text - though some cinemas get very busy because of this deal!!

Hardly a Money Saving Exercise since each Orange Wednesday 241 code you request WILL COST YOU 35 pence

Just one every Wednesday for a year would cost you £18.20 :)

Hot Tub Time Machine was excellent, very funny stuff, I'd pay to see it again.

The Last Song on the other hand... awful. Yes I too shed a few tears... for the 2 hours of my life I won't be getting back! If you paid me I wouldn't watch that again. Ugh.

And what's with people turning up 15 minutes late !!!!!!! If it says STARTS AT 6.30 then...... figure it out!

I think you'll find that Quoia was just warning dp555 that the 35p texts would add up to that over a year and that it would cost £18.20 if she/he texted every week which is a lot if she/he wasn't going to use the text ticket.

Just returned two tickets to Hot Tub Time Machine at the Odeon Metrocentre tonight.

Sorry it's late but hope someone can make use of them!

    Cheers

Do you need a Times+ Membership card to attempt the showing of hot tub time machine from the TimesOnline offer, I know it says you do but do they really check?
