Afternoon All
Ceyln - lovely cake :T
Halight so glad the appointment went well :j
Late posting as had to shoot out for client meeting and to drop a lorry off, took longer than I thought and have only been home a little while. So no OS today  we have a total heatwave here, showing 28 in my car, and I am wilting so think will chill today & put extra effort in tomorrow.:DAlso had to have a late lunch out so with be something on toast tonight.
On the good side client meeting went well and although we still have to watch every penny it looks like we will definately survive the year and just surviving is a bonus in this year.
Off now to keep cool, think the temperatures are meant to drop tomorrow so thats good. Oh & half DD's class at school are at home with flu which is a worry.

Hi chums had a nice day today my pal came down from Dartford and I made a nice lasagne for lunch and have enough left over for tomorrows lunch for myself .Also managed two portions of sauce to go into the freezer.
Had my forth NSD in a row on the GC so I'm a happy bunny at the moment and shopping from the freezer and storecupboards. Tomorrow I have to go to the breast care clinic at the Hospital as my arm is still swollen from the fall I had a fortnight ago whilst on holiday .I think it will be a case of having to wear a sleeve as they think it may have started off lymphondema in that arm.Oh well things could be worse I suppose . Weather has been a scorcher here in North Kent I'm hoping it will cool down a bit over the next few days.
Right I'm off to have a tuna salad for dinner to use up the salady bits in the fridge .Hope everyone has had a good day
Cheers JackieO xx0 -

Someone here mentioned that if you have a double oven and you're cooking in the bottom one then the upper oven compartment gets just warm enough to be the perfect spot to prove bread dough. I tried this and it works a bloomin' treat. So thanks to whoever first suggested it. :TVal.0 -

sistercas - How old is your DD if you don't mind me asking? My DD is becoming very spotty, and is only 10. My main concern is that the spots are really itchy, and she therefore keeps scratching them and scratching the tops off, so her forehead is a mass of scabs. I'm worried she'll end up with a very scarred face, so was thinking about taking her to the doctors to see if there is anything they can give her?
.
ladyshopper DD is 15 she has had spots since she was about 9, poor thing she has had longterm antibiotics for years and now they have put her on the pill to control her hormones . perhaps you should take your LO to see her g.p. and see if there is something they can give her to help, having spots can be so distressing for them (and for me i've got one right on my nose )0 -
Thanks sistercas, I think I'l try and get her booked in then for a chat. Not only does she have braces to contend with, now spots as well! Such as shame, she is a pretty girl (not that I'm biased or anything!). Doesn't seem to bother her, which is good, but kids can be cruel, and she goes up to secondary next year. Would just like to get her to stop itching them!0
