DVD decoder for windows media player

Yes i must have because like i said i use to be able to play dvd through media player before . Maybe my settings are wrong how do i check any ideas?

I brought it altogether the (dvd drive or what ever it is call ) is complete in the tower . I just us eto put the dvd in and it played .

you should have some Cds that come with the computer. one of those could be your DVD player

Something like PowerDVD

ive got a cd with acer written on it and dvd-R but its not playing think its blank

whats thte acer disc
it might be hidden in there, if its your resource disc

yes its as i decribed above it come when i had p.c not sure what it it sorry , if it "hidden" how do i find it ?? do you know

Well im not sure . Ive put the disk in and it come up under devices and removable storage. It says dvd-r in cd drive (e) I click onto the drive that the cd is in and a page come up that usually tell you whats on the disk but not with this one . just a blank page . If its hidden how do i find it ?
