You do sound cheerful - is your DH called Patrick per chance. Had day off for Paddys Day and spent most of it working!!

Free weekend away - what more could a girl want.

You are very good going for walk at lunch time - I am a lazy biatch and wouldn't walk to kitchen to get my lunch if I could help it!!

£24 for something you didn't use/want is GOOD!

SSSSSSSHHHHH - don't tell anyone - I hate the stuff and I have never said 'top of the morning to ya, either' - shocking paddy me!!

No drinkies - school night - work in the morning and all that sensible stuff. But you enjoy DH bday drink (mine doesn't drink either, great for lifts home, not so good for reminding about the night before!)

Hi all just got back from a lovely weekend at the seaside! Treated it as a mini hol and had breakfast out and chips by the sea icecream etc! The whole weekend cost us £60 all food out and shopping for caravan so not bad!
Usually its all food in van when we go so it was a real treat!

    Awh that sounds just lovely!!

One of the good things about MS is that you really enjoy simple treats instead of taking them for granted.

I don't do SW but I do weightwatchers instead. I would say that with careful planning it doesn't make your grocery bill go up. After all, I am not spending on masses of chocolate, so what I spend on additional fresh, healthy stuff, is offset by my savings on chocolate and other crap!

Obviously, you can get carried away, but be sensible and you should be no worse off, financially, even allowing for the weekly fee if you choose to go to the meetings!

I've done SW and it is good, but prefer to be in control of it myself. The weekly weigh and shame doesn't work for me.

At the moment I'm on Nutracheck. It's an online one and so far is very good.

It motivates you to exercise, drink water and eat your 5 a day. There is a free 5 day trial and after that various packages - all of which are cheaper than either WW or SW @ around £5.99 per month.

Good luck with it whatever you decide!
