  • Beat the Deat - I have just read your diary from page 1 - while watching my fav Holby City, which I will now have to re-watch as your diary was actually much more interesting.

I am so impressed you managed to avoid DMP - not that there is anything wrong with doing one, but I would truely like to avoid it if poss. LOL have done great damage to my credit rating I would imagine, through missed payments.

A question, if you don't mind. You said you are paying minimum each month of all cards - I am one better than you with nine cards - am I right in thinking that the minimum payments come down each month - or do they stay the same for a while (sorry if I am being a dofus) and is your logic to then pay the difference to largest card. I am being hammered with hike in interest rates and of course am no longer able to get 0% or low interest.

Anyway have subscribed to your diary - you are a great inspiration and I would love to be able to get to the place of having some cash spare to buy Xmas gifts in advance.

At least you recognised the slippage from the old debt wagon, you'd have to be a Saint not to slip so don't beat yourself up about it. Tomorrow's another day!
