Have you turned the heating on yet - 2009?

Too warm for the heating at the moment ... my thermometer says its currently 19C indoors most evenings. I'm going to try to hold out until November unless it snows or it is colder than 15C indoors during the daytime at weekends.
During the week I often have my evening meal at work or on the way home from work so its normally close to bedtime for me by the time I get home. So when its a bit cold - but not so cold that I'm worried about freezing pipes I'll just go to bed earlier to save heating the house!0 -

Ditto - we've had rain for a solid month!!
The heating's been on for an hour for a few nights just to try and dry things but it's off tomorrow as it's to be dry at last!Just call me Nodwah the thread killer0 -
Way to warm here for heating just yet...I am sat in a t-shirt at 11.22pm and our internal temperature on our thermostat says 24 degrees. We have had brand new upvc doors and windows put in this year and a new combi boiler, also loft insulation so hoping the house will hold heat well.
Only thing I am a bit worried about is we haven't been able to afford to replace the flooring downstairs which is all (very badly laid) laminate straight on concrete so think the floors are going to get quite cold here.
This will be our first winter in this house, at the moment hoping to wait until at least mid october but shall see how we go.0 -
I'm on the south coast and it is boiling down here ! We moved the lounge into the conservatory to have some extra space and it was the worst idea ever. Constantly sweating to death, windows open, doors open and 2 fans on all day and night !
Heating went on 24th November last year. I remember being disappointed because I was trying to hold out until 1st December !
Its gone midnight and I am sat in shorts and a T shirt. I cant wait for the colder weather !!VR repayment £404 £156.02 PAID
