Gonna substitute yesterdays HHI for the Utility room if that's ok toots? So then I can claim my star for yesterday, will do todays listy too.

  • Hello, I've not done anything today, am feeling really low. We were up late last night, I was very low and feeling like DH didn't love me (again) and then he started crying too which was a big thing as he's never cried in the four years I've known him. He finds it very hard to express how he feels, and it took 45 mins of me gently coaxing him to find out what was wrong. He wanted to tell me but just couldn't find the words. I've been researching today about conditions that prevent people from expressing their emotions. It's not that he doesn't feel things, and it's not that he doesn't want to express how he feels, but he just can't explain how he feels. He doesn't know how to.

We didn't get to sleep until 1am and we are both worn out today! DH has gone to work and as I say I've been researching online.

I feel so bad that he cried, he said it's cos he doesn't understand how he thinks everything is going well and then I get upset and he thinks nothings changed. I explained that I always struggle with the lack of affection and that sometimes I can shrug it off and cope and other times I feel more sensitive and cry and because we live in 3 rooms, I can't hide the fact that I'm feeling emotional and so he asks what's wrong. If we had a bigger place I could go into another room and he wouldn't be so aware that he's making me feel bad.

I feel so guilty for making him cry.

It's our second anniversary today. I love him so much. It seems so cruel that I have an illness which makes me feel unlovable and I crave affection and need reassurance that I am loved, and he possibly has an illness that makes it impossible for him to show affection and show me how much he loves me.

Sorry for this post. I know that in the future things will be better because of my faith in the Bible's promises. I'm just struggling to deal with things right now. I hate myself for making my husband feel bad about himself.

  • Grrr I'm in such a bad mood today and can't seem to shake it.:mad:
DS1 didn't close the freezer properly last night and things are semi-defrosted. Luckily it's the small freezer but there's still stuff in there that I obviously wanted to keep frozen. And DS2 has lost his Nintendo ds - hasn't been seen since saturday and we have looked everywhere. I just feel so cross when they don't pay attention!!!

On the flying front, I have done really well. Anger seems to make me fly faster!
