Well I haven't done much flying, bit of washing hung out and some washing up.

My hubby is currently doing some sorting and shifting furniture for me. I overdid it a bit yesterday at the freedom festival, walking about so resting a bit today.

We had fireworks from a huge barge on the Humber and from the flood barriers near The Deep, AMAZING and we were in a prime position on one of the jetty's.:T:T:T:T:T

The fire festival at night is also just magical and today I drove back into town and watched The Red Arrows from the top of one of the high rise car parks.

Was waiting for them to arrive and WOW, they swooped right over our heads as they flew over the marina and the Humber. Breathtaking and magnificent.

    Hey Triker,

Were you at the marina for the red arrows? I was down there working, you may have seen me!

Hi hunnies I'm home...... Did you miss me?

fish fed.. kittens freed from the dog crate.. and kettle on.

Need to keep checking oop north freecycle to see if here are any takers on a few more bits I listed before we set off back.. we really need rid..

Then.. I need to start on flinging from here.. here is no room for anything and I REALLY need it.

Triker.. ta much.. but I will not be getting a student loan so they can't mess up mine.. thankfully.. and the guy from the benefits place said I don't have to tell them I have any money until it is actually paid to me.

Quillion.. I'm not keen on any of the walpapers.. just to be awkward but I would probably go for the one on the right if I had to chose one.. I just think the middle one is a little gaudy.. and the one on the left could be ok on one wall or a chimney breast.

Food, washing and school stuff are on the cards for tonight.. preferably before xh brings the children home.

Im always moaning that I dont have any interests/hobbies...what do YOU do as a pleasurable activity?? (keep it CLEAN!!! this is a family establishment!!:rotfl:)I cant sew nor do crafts, I DO read quite a lot, but need something to interest me.. would love to hear what you girls do...

Mmmmm apart from being mum's taxi service I also go bell ringing (the theory is usually in a local public house ;) ), like reading, chatting to and spending time with my mates. I like cross stitching but haven't had chance to get into this for ages. I seem to get quite involved with Sunday school/church/messy church stuff which brings me into contact with all sorts of people.

DH took DD2 to the school fair, so I convinced DD3 to have a nap with mummy!
I feel much better now. :D Especially since Dh came in with 1/2 a ton of cadbury's chocolate. They had a Cadbury's shop at the fair, and with immaculate timing, he arrived as they were closing, so he got :

    7 Caramels
    10 pks Buttons
    7 Turkish bars
    7 Dairy milk bars
    10 Flakes
A large bag of Roses. All for £4.00 ACE!!! So, I'm all chocolated up! :D

It is, I can highly recommend.:T

So can you provide comments on the cookware please? :p

Been shopping - bought far too many books, but then I'm going to need stuff to read on the plane. Also bought a couple of language courses as they were half price! If I stick the CDs in the car it should eventually go in by osmosis...

ETA - also did some online language tests and bookmarked some courses...

Have done nothing productive today. I'm tired, and the overcast weather isn't helping. I'll try to get some stuff tidied up and put away today in the hope that with less clutter I'll feel more motivated!!

Quillion - good luck with the interview!

Toots - good to see you back!!!

    afternoon all

Had lunch with the in laws, after a fight managed to let them let me and SiL clear & wash up. DH and I dropped B&SiL at the station afterwards too. 2 loads of washing done, just waiting for 2nd to finish then will hang it all up. Clean towels put away. Fridge is spotless thanks to DH who has also filed a load of papers and is just ordering OS maps for our holiday.

I'm a bit achey with AF, but glad to see her again (26 days after last time) as hopefully a good sign i'm ovulating. Also still having a lot of sinus pain, back to Dr on wed, hopefully more meds will shift it!

I have next Fri booked off as flexi so a nice 4 day week for me, though it's a busy one! Interviewing all day tomorrow for a consultant to evaluate a lot of our projects.

Not planning on much more flying tonight, we have a flat inspection thurs will go through on weds night anyway and it looks ok for now. do need to make lunches.

Mrs B - hobbies, me and DH do a lot of walking, I read a lot (but mainly on my commute), watch far too much Home channel on sky, help with girls' brigade. My main favourite passtime is spending time with friends although I don't have many who live near me now. I should really get some more hobbies!!

dusty - you'd be great at the CAB
    toots - welcome home
sarahs - result on the choc!
quillion - good luck for the interview

  • Hi everyone

Quillion I like the middle one. As for lanamite(sp) I had it all through my last house and when we moved here I lifted it and put it down in my dining area and the rest of it went to a friend. I must have had it 6 years or more now and it's still going strong. When I get my hall finished I'm putting some down there it's so much easier to clean than a carpet with the kids and the dog.
Good luck with the interview honey.

Mrs B my hobbies are reading, cross stitch, facebook and MSE. Sad but true:o

Toots good to see you back honey I've missed you. Huge hugs hope the eyesight improves for you. x

Crafty I like Lidl for a lot of things it's just a bit of a bummer to get to on my own so I need to wait for OH to take me in the car and I just buy a lot when I get there:o

    Flying

    Hi all
    WB Toots :).
Mrs B, my hobbies are knitting, x-stitch, cardmaking, reading, listening to music, MSE and other web related stuff,......oh yeah and running after two year old DS.
Flying wise have done a load of washing and made a start on this weeks (own) list, which I now start on a Sunday (lots of dusting, cleaned loo and bathroom, cleaned kitchen, DH hoovered), also knitted some more and made a gammon/fried egg/roast tatties dinner.
Hugs to all who need them and see you all in next weeks thread.
