How rude!
I have been here for a few days and want to post but have found it hard because I feel as though I am interupting a conversation all the time. I joined the site to post on this bored but am having trouble with it. Why would you think I am being antagonistis because I am feeling nervous about posting?
Having you post a message to me like that only goes to show me I was right to be nervous to start with.
I have read through the posts and seen that it is a new thread, it doesn't make it any easier though because severyone seems to be talking about their days and not about their condition. Someone new coming in like me feels as though they are butting in.
Put yourself in my shoes when you want to jjoin in but feel nervous and have your post as the first reply.
Maybe I shouldn't try.
I apologise if you think I am totally rude but I saw the argument you started on another thread and followed that, therefore I was purely concerned that as your first post on here told us how unfriendly and cliquey you find it, it wasnt the best way to begin posting?2009-£7500 2010 £10800 2011 £2000

Sorry you took it that way - it wasn't meant like that at all?

That's how a forum works. If nobody spoke, there would be nobody to talk too. If you joined to post in this board, then this is obviously the kind of conversation you want to be having. So, join in. Introduce yourself, and you'll be welcomed with open arms. If you don't post, or you post messages like the above, you can't expect to be welcomed.
I suffer from severe anxiety and ME, and I am 19 years old. I live on my own, and don't open up to anyone. I'm slowly getting there with the people on this forum, who have been like a family to me. Posts like this make the mods think that it should be shut, exactly like it was last time, and that doesn't benefit anyone.
If you don't want to talk to us, as we are too much of a 'clique' and talk about the wrong things, make your own thread. Otherwise, introduce yourself and join in. There is clearly no reason to criticize when this thread was made especially for people to feel welcome.
If you do want to join in, then welcome. My name is Kati, and I have ME and rheumatoid arthritis, as well as anxiety and depression. I live on my own, and am not in contact with my family. I'm hoping to start university in a few days, when I'm well enough. Your turn!Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
Hello peeps!!!!!
Just returned from BZ wedding but shall take that to the other thread.
I'm absolutely shattered as I was at another wedding in Sunderland on Saturday. I've driven 350 miles since yesterday!
Ruby, I drink on my tablets but never took them on the night time if I'd had a drink as I was a bit worried about how they would get on with each other. I was drinking last night and dancing (because I don't feel the pain when I've had a drink). I decided to take my tablets last night and I know I normally feel worse than this after a normal night out plus all the way I've driven so I'm glad I tried it now. I'm not sure what the advice is on drinking with my tablets as I haven't read the leaflet so I'm not advising anyone else to do it. Always read the label0 -
Do people here all drink alcohol on tablets? I don't like to drink on mine.
I don't drink alcohol, as the tablets I take are very strong and the alcohol could affect how they work. For me, not worth mixing really. There is something delicious about writing the first words of a story. You never quite know where they'll take you - Beatrix Potter0 -
kass I'm so jealous, but I hope you had a wonderful time at the wedding. I bet she looked absolutely gorgeous and much blubbing went on.
I hope you got my messages. Have been trying to keep busy today as on a bit of a downer as I was so much looking forward to being part of the day. Ah well.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

raeh No worries, it's forgotten - we can all get a little paranoid at times. Who said what to upset you? I'll come and sit on them for you :rolleyes:I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
Ruby, if you want to just barge on in, go ahead - it's what I do! Sometimes you get pretty short shrift, sometimes welcomed, depending on how you start off (and how you react to the first replies). There are people on the site I have completely disagreed with on one thread, and totally understood on others - it's the nature of the thing.
We don't have the advantage of non verbal communication here, so something that could be taken as a joke in company is found to be hurtful or offensive here - heck, I'm pretty sure I've offended a few people in the last year, and sometimes people can be just plain daft/mean/wrong. It happens.
Just chill out a bit, say hello and see what happens!I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

Yeah, it's such a shame. We'll have to think of another excuse for a party and we'll get together then. I know it doesn't make up for it but I'm sure she'll put piccies up in photobucket.
I haven't got any messages. Did you message me on here or to my mobile?0 -
