I used my voucher with no problems today
, although it did help that i (somehow) managed to get the manager at the till and not the dumb stokie 17 year old! Money For Nothing: £365.96 as of 01/01/110 -
Hi all!
I have a speculation - could WHSmith be doing this promotion to actually lose money?
For example perhaps it is just over a corporate tax / payoff / something monetry band and it would earn the shareholders more money if a few thousand was taken off the books so it would fall back to a lower band (just like the old house stamp prices ploy of over valuing fixtures & fittings?)0 -

Some companies do sell products at a loss, partially supermarkets. I do know that WHSmith looses money on every chart CD they sell though0 -
This was a good voucher, I see the new one is not as good. Gotta spend more £££. Spend £5.00 to get extra 200 points worth £2.00.0

My points balance had returned today. I purchased 2 mega reduced art folders, for £11 in total, and I still have over £12 left on the card.
I think there was just a glitch in the system yesterday.0 -
