    Hi all!

I have a speculation - could WHSmith be doing this promotion to actually lose money?

For example perhaps it is just over a corporate tax / payoff / something monetry band and it would earn the shareholders more money if a few thousand was taken off the books so it would fall back to a lower band (just like the old house stamp prices ploy of over valuing fixtures & fittings?)

Some companies do sell products at a loss, partially supermarkets. I do know that WHSmith looses money on every chart CD they sell though

This was a good voucher, I see the new one is not as good. Gotta spend more £££. Spend £5.00 to get extra 200 points worth £2.00.

My points balance had returned today. I purchased 2 mega reduced art folders, for £11 in total, and I still have over £12 left on the card.

I think there was just a glitch in the system yesterday.

Weird how we didn't get it, lol. Its a general clubcard email i think, you can usually tell if its a promotion from the URL.

I used mine no trouble yesterday.

Although it has a long date I won't use this one much as I don't want to but £5 of stuff I could buy a lot cheaper just for £2 worth of points to spend in what can be a very expensive store.
