Wedding venue problems - want to cancel.

Beks I just wanted to add my congratulations - have just spent the last 2 hours reading through your thread - you and your OH really are an inspiration to us all, and I'm so pleased that you got your money back! I hope that when you do find a place to get married, that you have a wonderful wedding!

I have just read all of this thread, and well done on not giving up. I am going though the courts to get £1500 back, i paid for a number plate and has never been seen since. It can be disheartening at times think people will just do this kind of thing. I think everyone on here should start ringing them and enquire about dates and ask them to send info. It will cost a fortune in postage and not get any bookings

I happen to know that this particular venue has lost more business because some business people that I know have cancelled meetings and golfing breaks there:j I wouldnt waste time ringing them because they are so rude and unprofessional.

glad to see you finally (albeit the cheque clearing) have your money back.

have been showing peeps in work the reviews on the hotel. needless to say in our line of work we wont be recommending it to anyone.

It is so easy to join Tripadvisor, you just sign up with an e-mail address & password, it costs nothing & means you can help other people make informed choices
