Hi Beks have a great weekend, Don't worry too much about Monday your well going to win this git.
That poor other brideis there nothing we can do to help?
Steph xx0 -
I have left my email for her to contact me. The trouble is I dont really want to worry her more than she already is. Once we go public there will be even more worried brides and that is something that really does concern me.0

But atleast they will know the truth and can do something about it I would rather know than not know if it was me. Wouldn't you? I think that when you have gone public and we have done everything we can he will be bankrupt

Beks - I've been reading this since the start and hoping for a positive outcome for you all the way through (although I think this is my first post on this topic). I completely understand your concerns about going public and worrying other people who have booked with this venue.
I know you will win this case - keep fighting - only a few moe days until the end!0 -

Thank you. I do feel like it is a bit of a lose-lose situation. The hearing on monday is only to decide if his application to set aside judgement will be accepted. I have no idea which way the judge will go and even with the whole case, I am not as convinced as everyone else that we will win. Having had the lawyer (the one through the house insurance) say that we had less than a 50% chance of winning really dented my confidence, even now.. You're right though, a few more days and our nightmare could all be over
. Then we may have some hard decisions to make.
Steph - totally agree but there is a part of me that will feel sorry for those brides that would be 'caught in the middle'. We could really ruin their day and I am just not sure if I could be responsible for that.0 -
If there's any jusice - the decision should go your way, fingers crossed and good luck for Monday x"Normal is not something to aspire to - it is something to get away from" - Jodie Foster0

Just to say thank you all for your support and an extra big thank you to quink who has given me the link for another forum with a user who has a problem with the same venue. I cant post a link as the venue is named on that forum. She is looking at losing a £2500 deposit.
Hi Beks, any chance I could have that link, I am also looking at losing 2,500 to this venue. I wonder if joint action is a possibility?]0 -

What happened with your deposit?
Can't believe they are still taking bookings when they can't even sort the bookings they do have!
I hope this cretin gets taken to the cleaners and loses everything he has.
Really hope you all get sorted xTank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

Having seen the most recent available accounts for the limited company, there is very little chance of anybody but the banks getting any money - and that's because their loan is secured on property.
Just hope the other brides have wedding insurance in place0 -
Viole I will pm you, I didnt realise it was the same venue you were having problems with. I am so sorry. The other lady is going ahead with her and she doesnt have a way out and would have to pay more money if she cancels (how they got that into the contract I have no idea but I guess you dont question it when you get the contract). I wish her all the luck.
Had a hectic day.
Gonna have a quiet weekend now and relax until court on monday.0
