Thrift I had the pleasure of meeting Jamie on the back of a tipoff from here last year. He is actually nicer than on the tv. But this series he doesnt take centre stage and is quite laid back so maybe you might enjoy it after all.
I am just waiting to see John Barrowman who I think is gonna be in the same place I met Jamie soon.. but i'd have to have a makeover first.Yes I know hes gay but hes devastingly good looking. What Would Bill Buchanan Do?0 -

Oooh, can I accompany you when you see John Barrowman? I'll hold you when you faint!

helllooooo! oh my days i've missed you all - three pcs in the house and all went kaput the same weekend. Have fixed dd's so that's the family pc at the moment.
Dizzybuff - i'm also a single parent working full time. i don't do as much as lots of other people do but i think you have to sort out what your priorities are - for me it's home cooked meals. My dd is 12 and she sits down once a week with a recipe book and does the meal plan and writes a rough shopping list. I do the shopping online with MR T which prob means that we miss out on some yellow stickers but is a lot quicker than going every day afte w*rk. When i get in from w*rk we head straight for the kitchen and cook together. dd(24) gets in later than us so she washes up. Flylady is helpful too and we use chorebuster.net to divvy up the housework.
Well tomorrow is First Day Back at School for dd and you would think it was Christmas to look at her - she has already gone to bed to make the day come quicker! dd(24) has split up with her bf and is Not Nice To Be Near - they'll be back together by wednesday though if history teaches us anything
In other news I have been on a rather nice date this weekend.
have a good rest of the weekend - byee!I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
Evening guys!!
OH is watching some rubbish on TV with Jim Carrey in??? The Mask I think.
Today we have both (which makes a change!!) cleaned the house throughly because we had two viewings. One was a no-show and the other seemed very very interested! Oh well, we'll see - I don't actually wanna sell and move but OH does. Its been on the market for ages (18months?) and only went on cos we were on the verge of splitting (which we eventually did, think 7year itch, and then got back together).
Anyway, on topic, this afternoon I batch cooked!! Are you proud??! I am!! I made spag bol sauce, chilli and sheperds pie and roasted the duck. We're gonna make chinese pancakes tomorrow I think.
Thanks for the heads up about chorebuster - seems like a good site! Might spend some time thinking about what needs doing and when.....but OH reckons this is just another 'fad' , hmmm.!!
OH has gone to finish watching the Mask in bed, so I've put on WWE Smackdown taped from Friday - love my wrestling!!
And again, I waffle!!
Sorry

oh well i don't get out much either so we met a year ago and then again this bank holiday weekend. Turns out we quite liked each other last year and then again this year so have decided not to wait another year to do something about it. He's an NQT with one dd - we're going to co-ordinate dd-free weekends and see how it goes and ... er ... that's it

It's just a book signing and it's in London but sure if you want.. if you can work miracles with making a silk purse out of a sows ear, then I might allow myself to have a pic taken. Someone I met at a stage door took some of me with Eddie Izzard that nobody has ever seen cos I look so bad. I NEVER let my pic get taken.Oooh, can I accompany you when you see John Barrowman? Give Jamie a try. Last weeks was very good. He is not doing burgers but eating with normal families and telling their stories.
