Best beach in Playa de las Americas, Tenerife?

Just got back yesterday, had 5 days in Playa de las americas (been before mind)
Had Hurricane weather with the most amazing rain i have ever seen! (flood is an understatement!)
Overcast most of the time Had about 6 hours total of sunshine without clouds in the way...
Average cost of a meal based on 2 is 24 euros, and that be if you have a 3course meal eating at the places which do deals for 8 euros each + drinks

Worst price paid for a vodka & coke was 6.50 euro (may as well just say £6.35), and the measures are nearly the same as we get here (take away the big ice cubes!)
Paint stripper and coke (thats the local crap vodka) on average was 3 euros (£2.91?)....
Beach was nice though !

Green Golf apartments are lovely but a bit out of town. http://www.greengardenresort.es/ you won't see many people in the sea at this time of year.
