Sky cards from XL Trading

What's the point of posting on your website - you still wouldn't answer the same old questions people have put to you or you would just go down the same route of saying that you can't dislose this and that....
As for advertising - you're asking people to register on your website through the link you've posted - advertising (may not be your products but certainly your website?!?). Is this not advertising??The trouble with doing something right the first time is that nobody appreciates how difficult it is!0 -
mungamink... as a sky employee, before this thread were you aware of these cards??
Not me personally, but others in my team had seen ones like them in the past, I only noticed this thread because I was going to look at something in the mobile forum.
I work in technical support, and have lots of people phoning up to pair cards with new boxes that they've bought outwith Sky, there is a way to activate new cards sent by sky yourself using your set top box and phone line, but I'm not sure what would happen if the card didn't originate from sky in the first place.
As for booking up the box office movies and events, there's a credit limit on all the viewing cards, so you'd not get away with much there either.0 -
LOL!
They cannot update their own website to show a simple address change and yet can set up a whole new forum just for us. Bless 'em.
Dont forget the
MISSING
VAT
NUMBER
All out of XL Tradings' own mouth.
I cant wait for them to try digging themselves out of their own hole with the Authorities...

Sorry... if you had any proof of belief in what you were putting
I thought you weren't coming back?
You cannot even get your own promises right can you?.
So the big 'rep' for the world biggest back up service has finally resorted to calling us chicken.? :rotfl:
When you place your business address and contact details on the website - as the law requires you to then maybe people may take your challenge a little more seriously. Indeed, that is all we've been asking for, for your website to be compliant with the law.Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, a mind without regret. If I overcome anger, I will be delightful and loved by everyone.0 -
It's a feeble attempt to try and collect user names and IP addresses, wonder why?0
-
Cowards..
You so called know it all's are actually shaming the rest of the people on MSE you know.
We do not harvest IP addresses by the way - we merely believe, that if you have nothing to hide, then you will not mind posting on our forum what you 'think' is true.
IP changing and using a proxy is also illegal by the way - why would you need to do this when using the internet normally?
Again, the offer stands.... you are all grownups we believe.. now back up what you are posting on here.
Unless - there is a chance that you are actually defaming our site and you know you are
If you decline the personal invitation, what does that say about the posters on this thread really? You can make comments on here, but when challenged, you have absolutely no intention of backing up your comments on here where MSE protect you and allow you because they are 'not moderated' - when normal forums on the net ARE... which we find highly suspicious in its own right.
Biased forumming... now come to ours and do the same thing.
You can clearly spout off on here, are you not admitting you are afraid of doing it on another site then?Just to confirm, XL Trading does have the right to reply but this does not mean MSE endorses its products in any way and, like all other forum users, must help us keep the forum a friendly place to be.

Forgot about that one. I meet and work with HMRC regularly on VAT matters so I'll pass the website details onto my colleagues. If they are VAT registered (I'd not hold any breath), then HMRC will have their full trading details and they'll go give them a visit for non-compliance in terms of the website and also the transactions through google/paypal....a minimum 30% of outputsis the penalty they can impose on any business for non-compliance.Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Same posts - just a different and more level playing field.
:rotfl: A level playing field where you will no doubt have Admin and Moderator rights, get real, and you had the temerity to call us " brain deficient " well we ain't that stupid.
Anyway, you have obviously realised that you are only digging yourself in to one huge hole here.
No doubt Sky will be in touch with you very soon.
Bye.. I am sure we can all carry on without your pathetic input.0 -

Bye.. I am sure we can all carry on without your pathetic input.
But we do not ask people to beg for a right to have a say.
Very suspicious for a 'consumer action forum' to have to do this.
You can have your say - we do not alter, or ban anyone from having free speech, however.. if you are scared... just admit it
You have no confidence in your posts otherwise you would be backing up your comments anyone would.
Pathetic.
And while you sit here on your high horses, pretending to know people, who know the law - and apparently reporting us for this and that, you STILL cannot be brave enough to post on the forum of the site that you are trying to damage its reputation.
Something, that we can also use to provide a much better case when WE DO sue this site and get your details from it.Forgot about that one. Of course you do, and that's why you will bottle coming onto our site to libel us publicly isnt it.
Load of crap.
I am the King of Spain as well by the way - I can't prove it like most people on here with their claims of working for such people... but because it is MSE, I can pretend to be whoever I like cant I
EDIT:
Oh forgot to mention something as well which we are highly delighted about
IF we are accused of something, and it ends up going to court - our legal team will drag you into court with us on the charge that you have made a statement or accused us of such things as piracy and illegal activities.
FACT CANNOT legally stop any court in this country from allowing the accused and their defence team from bringing you in as a witness and showing any evidence which supports a claim of libel or defamation.
Excellent
You HAVE to appear and you have to use your real details which we can then use to prosecute you.
Ah the law... don't you just love it!Just to confirm, XL Trading does have the right to reply but this does not mean MSE endorses its products in any way and, like all other forum users, must help us keep the forum a friendly place to be.
