we went to pontins in brean in august with the sun holidays and loved it. we payed for the budget and the kitchen looked like it was new(room 446), no dirt anywhere. it was alot better than people made out. we went to golden sands in dawlish warren in july and this was far worse than pontins.0

Sorry but I know it needs updating.. but there is a park, pool, and inside soft area, amusements and entertainment. It don't compare to butlins (we love it there) but for someone who wants a break away the kids will love it!
Any child that says 'I want to go home its a dump' in my opinion is a rude little git and can only possible get this behaviour from it's parents! My child will be growing up to have more respect and appreciate things more.. exactly like I have been bought up to be like and not a spoilt little bratt!!!!
ANYWAY.. everyone is entitled to their opinions we have booked a weekend and we are looking forward to it!
i have posted this on another site so may have been me aswell.
yep i agree, my children are only small (1+3yrs) but my neices are 7 & 9 just love it if we have a pic nic over our local park followed by an ice cream and they think that is a brilliant day out
a holiday is what you make itIf you want to see the rainbow ,you gotta put up with some rain0 -

I take it that if your kids had footballs kicked at them, and a brick chucked at them, then you would say 'not to worry, don't be a spoiled brat'!!!!0 -

I have had many many holidays at Pontins and not once have I had anything like that happen to either of my children.
If anything, they make friends and play nicely with them. So ok, maybe Pontins isn't the most modern of holiday camps but we love it there and so it seems do the majority of people.0 -

.....in fact, being 5yrs & 4yrs they loved it.
But I'd rather have my kneecaps drilled & raw vinegar poured in the jagged holes than have to cross Pontins threshold ever again.0 -
Okay lets be honest, your kids have as much chance of getting a brick thrown at them at home as they have at a Pontins complex (judging by the papers and the TV news). I have been to Pontins on these holidays for free, and although yes they are dirty (take bleach) and the sofa beds are pants (we take a blow up bed), you pay for what you get. If i wasnt already going away i would go on one. Let people decide for themselves, the complexes have not changed really since they opened and im sure if you were a kid you wouldnt care what the accomadation was like. I know when i was a kid we went in some right dives, looking back now, but hey, it was a holiday. The OP put it on here for people with little money. Dont forget you will get people with priorty codes for the Sun offers, who will put Pontins as their 1st choice, and they will pay more money0

We have booked at Camber 25th Sep as we loved it so much last year. We went to haven earlier in the year at Hastings the pool was broken for the whole weekend and so was our fridge it was prob the hottest weekend of the year. My sisters and cousins when on last years deal they have also booked this year thanks to this offer.0 -
pontins self catering for sept and oct 3 or 4 nights for £25 booking fee and recieve 20 pontins points back to spend in the bar so only costing £5, based on 4 sharing
Does anyone know if that means it's £25 per person, so £100 total (based on 4 sharing)? Or is it £25 total?0 -
I have booked for a family of 4 for £25 total!0
