    "Treat" ...lol.

When we were there, even our four year old retorted "Look Dad, I know you were trying your best, but this place is rancid - can we go home now?"

    what a lovely child .... !

How many 4 year olds do you know with 'rancid' as part of their vocabulary?

  • just told my sister as her and her partner wanted to take their 2 children in sept and had been quoted £120 for 4 nights and couldnt afford it so she is well chuffed and going to book.

I paid for them last year when it was a £10 deal and they had a fab time.

    Xmas Saver!
i can't believe some ppl why stereotype ppl  these days you have to grab what you can when you can and like others have said some ppl (including me and my family) can't afford a holiday away so this is a great chance to grab a few days away. hope all going have a fab time
have now given up smoking since feb 13th 2014 loving the money I'm saving
  • My comments were actually firmly tongue in cheek....but joking aside, our Brean accomodation was unclean & the overall vibe of the place was dreadful.

And by the way - I never said anyone there was violent or criminal.....they just looked it, lol.

For the record we've not had a holiday this year...but even at £20...they can keep it - the place sucks canal water through its backside.

I have been on many UK hols in Haven, butlins, hoseasons which are excellent..... and Pontins, and Pontins just is like spending a week in a concentration camp, and the majority of people there are just riff raff. You can't keep away fropm them either as there are so many of them. No ball games means 25 Yobos kicking a ball outside your flat as hard as they possibly can, especially if you walk past with a baby in a pram, whilst your dodging the empty cans of special brew. Our 10 year old was scared to go out on his own after he had a brick thrown at him.... Nice people!!!! Trust me this is the biggest dump you will ever have the misfortune to go to.... The beach is nice thought!:eek::eek:
  • ive just found out form my friend that you dont have to pay the whole lot today as you can pay a £5 deposit today and pay the other £20 before you go away

just for anyone wanting to go, makes the deal abit more better

Thanks booked to go Southport next weekend (YES I KNOW IT'S A DUMP ) prob only stay the Fri/Sat night ,little one loves it and is Scooby doo mad just hope it's on .
Everytime I go pontins I say "never again" but DS totally loves the place and talk's about it all the time ,as a mum who loves to see her little boy's eye's light up when I tell him where we are going I don't mind roughing it for a few days .
  • I've just found this deal in another forum! Can't because people can moan about it for just £25.

Sorry but I know it needs updating.. but there is a park, pool, and inside soft area, amusements and entertainment. It don't compare to butlins (we love it there) but for someone who wants a break away the kids will love it!
Any child that says 'I want to go home its a dump' in my opinion is a rude little git and can only possible get this behaviour from it's parents! My child will be growing up to have more respect and appreciate things more.. exactly like I have been bought up to be like and not a spoilt little bratt!!!!

ANYWAY.. everyone is entitled to their opinions we have booked a weekend and we are looking forward to it!
