I had the very same email but unfortunately it does not confirm the order number, the item that was incorrectly priced, or the correct price and did not include the voting buttons either!
They still can't get their act together, can they?

It seems that nearly all the DVD's they put in the sale have been 'mis-priced'. I ordered the last samurai and got the above e-mail and i know the live aid one has gone that way as well.
Didnt know which order had been cancelled, but this is whsmith all over, had the same problem with the shower radio's that they just cancelled claiming tey would never be getting any stock in. :-/0 -
Well, I too received this email...but it didn't tell me which order was mispriced and I have several placed with them. So I responded and in the box mark 'order ref' I put 'You tell me!'
I don't really expect a response....but :-/0 -
I also got the same email but am tempted to reply as if they had made a pricing error in store, they would still have to honour the price. I feel it is unjust that as they have done it on-line then everyone should be penalised for their mistake.if i had known then what i know now0

They don't have to honour the price in store, but they are more likely to do it as a gesture of goodwill
I think it's kind of worrying as to how many 'misprices' this WH Smith sale has produced. LOTR, Futurama, this, Angel... can anyone think of others? One is understandable. This many seems to be a marketing ploy, and lets face it ANY publicity is good publicity, especially when related to a sale and you can then give potential customers a 10% off couponI also got the same email but am tempted to reply as if they had made a pricing error in store, they would still have to honour the price. I feel it is unjust that as they have done it on-line then everyone should be penalised for their mistake.0
