Cancelled here aswell. Not complaining though as I never really expected this to come off. Well done to those who did get one. WH Smith obviously had some stock but not in the 1000's to cover all these orders. Any other online retailer who has stock will probably be the end of too as I mentioned in the original thread this DVD boxset has now been deleted.
Those of you, like myself, should just grin and bare it as the next bargain is just around the corner

Because the actual product is availiable, its just they don't want to let people have it at that price. If someone from WH Smith tells me the truth that they can't sell the product at that price then I will understand and accept that, when they try to fob people off with rubbish that's when people stick up for themselves

just phoned w.h.smiths and spoke to a friendly chap who said that the w.h.shiths management were very aware of this "situation" with the box sets

Agreed, why can't they admit that there was a pricing error, as they are covered by there T&C's, they are making the same mistake as tesco with the gamecube, who managed to find stock after they were on watchdog.

Is it worth contacting Watchdog? These companies hate the bad press they get. Perhaps worth hanging on to those order numbers?
