I have just received an email from you stating that Futurama DVD box set is no longer available and in effect you have cancelled my order.



Are you saying that Futurama Box sets are no longer being made and are not available in the future? If so, I do not accept this as clearly this product is still being produced and should be made available to me at a future date.



For the purpose of clarity and so there can be no ambiguity, I ordered this product in good faith and it was showing as ‘in stock’ at the time of purchase and expect you to make good on the delivery of goods.



Ps. This is the first time I have ordered off W H Smith online and I am not impressed!

They have e-mailed me to say that it is an automated e-mail which is sent out by thier suppliers whenever a product goes out of stock regardless of if it is a book, dvd, cd or any other item. The lady on the other end of the phone when I called them regarding the authorisation on my credit card said that they were cancelling people's orders because they made a mistake in the pricing on thier website. They allowed the first 38 orders to go through because they had them in stock and that it was only when it suddenly sold out within 10 minutes that they decided to cancell orders from everyone else. Don't know if it helps anyone but they will not be sending out the item to anyone who has not already recieved confirmation of having had thier order dispatched.
