Some mistake - the Wilsons aren't buying. No money or to be more precise, no credit left. It's over.

Whats you problem? You got banned from HPC for posting argumentative baseless ramblings. Now you are here slagging off people from another forum with the same rubbish.

I would rather debate house prices here with some adult sensible bulls than some childish fool.

From now on guys/girls can we ignore these stupid threads and step the debate up a level, its putting people off from posting.

HT isn't banned yet from the other site with the similar title it seems

Anyway, howcome the thread about hamish gets locked and sent to abuse. Yet this one stays?

    Is there really any need?

No Brit, all the prominent bulls got banned..... for being right.

Almost everything I predicted has happened.

How are your predictions going? Let's start with the one where we'd see a 50% crash by X-mas 09. Hows that one going?:rotfl:

No comment on the house decision, but anyone who calls themself Mick Dundee plus picture has to be a right t0sser.
  • Sorry but i think the market is yet to reach bottom.....i'm sat in my rented house with the cash in my bank account to buy ahouse mortgage free, i also own my first property outright which is rented out.

But i'm looking to buy asap...why>??? cause i got to for work and the wife told me we got to!!

Sorry 1 swallow doesn't make a summer and all that

The bottom line is no one is 100% sure what house prices are going to do in the short term....but you cant comment unless you know someone's circumstances

Well I do wonder. House prices fall, by what, 20%, go up a little and then all those that havn`t bought have missed the boat. Does anyone, in their right mind, think that we will see 2007 prices any time soon? Doesn`t matter to me much but seems very unlikely.

When even the most bearish of perma-pessimists are buying, you know it's all over.....

I have a few problems with this Private Frazer.

    1. Mick Dundee joined HPC last December. Are you sure 'perma-pessimist' is the right description?

    2. A few minutes ago there were 609 browsers on the main HPC forum. MSE's house buying forum had 117.

    3. One stray sheep in a flock of 609 is equivalent to 0.16%.

    4. I don't know if you noticed but Mick Dundee is actually selling a house for £225,500 and buying one for £177,500. In the bull/bear classification system, trading down is the close cousin fo 'sell to rent'.

you got banned for being a troll ...god you must miss the place if you keep going back over and peeping..
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.
