Thanks Beanie.
I've had a busy week -
TADA
Went to Tai Chi and have been practising at home LOL
Trying to get into the habit of coming straight home from work on Friday and doing housework to free up weekends - so far so good - hoovered throughout, polished everywhere and did bathroom - washing done but not ironed yet.
Went out to a train show with dh yesterday - a lovely run through Pennines in the sunshine then spent morning in show and surrounding heritage centre mooching through crafty shops and the like. Finished off the afternoon in Meadowhall Shopping Centre where dh asked me to choose my birthday present - I chose a new purse from the Radley shop - yes - I know I'm mad getting him to pay so much but it has all the compartments I want and it is a 'birthday treat' - I'm expecting it to last a VERY long time!!
DS came around today and gave me my pressie off both my dd and himself - they'd clubbed together to get me a RADLEY handbag and purse!!!!!!!!!!! I hadn't realised I'd drooled quite so much everytime I passed them in a shop - there is NO way I'd pay the silly money they charge for them - so I've gone from a tatty, just about holding together purse from the market to being the proud owner of 2 purses and a posh bag LOL - I'll be scared carrying them about. All I need now is enough cash to fill them!! I'm going to keep the purse dh bought me for everyday and the one that matches the bag from kids for bestest!! Never had a BESTEST purse before LOL LOL LOL
Finished today with a Tai meal in a new reataurant in Trafford Centre - all you could eat - it's a wonder they are not bankrupt the amount DS and DH put away - it was very nice.
So all that and it's not even my birthday until Tuesday!! I feel very spoilt

went to work
came home and RELAXED - after all I am a YEAR older today LOL
Talked to a neighbour about her doing my hair - will go and make an appointment with her when she gets in later ( she used to be a hairdresser and now does a few friends hair) - need to find a way to save a few pennies with my new lower wage - I'll give it a try and see how it is.
I was very impressed with pressie from work a per una scarf and fancy gloves and choccies too - not bad considering I've only been there 3 weeks.
We are going out later for tea - I've been very spoit this year again
